    Super Pastel Orange Ghost ?
Heres a story some can relate to. Quite often someone will tell me how they are going to raise up their ball pythons and breed them in 1 year. heres a project I started 3 years ago. both pastels are also 100% het. orange ghost. they both are mouse eaters only. both have taken 3-4 months off of feeding at different times. they both cost a ton of money to purchase, and I worried all the time if they ever were going to put the weight on to breed. well all the snakes in this project are plenty big for breeding. I will soon see if its gonna happen. these can produce super pastel orange ghosts, pastel ghosts, super pastels, orange ghosts and pastels. all in the same clutch. so to say im excited is a bit of an understatement! luckly I have 2 het. orange ghost females that are up to breeding size also. next time someone tells you that you can get a bp up to breeding size in no time, just laught. :P

Chris, the female in the pic. is from corey woods and had to be imported from canada.

The male in the pic. came from John Manser. im sure very few of you have heard that name. John has some killer ball pythons.

Ed, it was the female that made me ask...her head is so light and ghost like...last time I was at Corey's place, he was showing me a bunch of his Pastels in comparison to his Pastel het. Ghost's, and how his het. Ghosts definitely looked different than the regular Pastels, especially at a younger age.....at any rate, they are both very nice ;)

Basuca, Have no idea what line of pastels they are. when I was looking to purchase, any pastel with orange ghost genes would do. at the time they were very rare, you just could not be picky about it. I had to import from canada just to get a female. through selective breeding they can be refined later on. :)

Corey used the original male Graziani Pastel he imported in '99 to start the POG/SPOG project, and all his Pastel stock is of Graziani lineage...

I wish you lots of luck on this project Ed!! :carrot: :carrot:

I have a really nice female that is a bit unusual that I have been trying to get to size. She has been a bit stubborn to say the least. So yea, I laugh too! :8:

Lovely snakes, Ed. Why anyone would think BP breeding is a "get a clutch, get rich quick" scheme is beyond me too LOL. Can't wait to see what these two produce and the results of your patience with this project.
