remember the kitten we rescued? well here's her sister!
well... a week ago we rescued a kitten... misty and her sister wasn't caught. my friend has been watching for her but she disappeared... and then... yesterday she showed up and my friend was able to catch her!

i'd like to introduce you all to my new kitten... tigerlily! :sunny:

    https://ball-pythons.net/gallery/fil...tigerlily1.jpg

not only is she named after someone wonderful on this site! (and you know who you are LOL) but she has stripes and spots... just like a tigerlily! :carrot:

living on whatever she could find, she's become a little wild... she is very frightened... and cries constantly in her crate. but, until her stools firm up... she's going to have to stay in the crate (except for her hourly cuddle time in our arms)

    isn't she a love!

Awesome kitty Aleesha!! My favorite cat I had growing up (out of 5) was found in a park as a kitten, and looked EXACTLY like your little tigerlily. I hope she calms down and settles in soon.

Oh she's a darling kitten and just as pretty as her sister, Misty. Lovely name too! Suits her perfectly! Hopefully she'll be just fine and calm down as soon as she's feeling better and has her sister for companionship and her humans for love and kindness.

Re: remember the kitten we rescued? well here's her sister!
well this morning we are letting her out of her crate, while we are home to play with her sister and with our other kitten Sasha (5 months old). Our two adult cats don't pay much attention to these two little ones although Kira (adult) and Sasha are best friends.

funny little tigerlily,... well she's out of her crate and she's still meowing her little heart out :P what a talkative kitten. hopefully she'll keep her 'talking' but refrain from the constant meowing soon... as an almost 24 hour meowing gets a bit much - i laid in bed last night at about 3am for over an hour listening to her meow and meow and meow LOL

but hey... it takes work when you rescue little kittens who shouldn't even be weaned yet... we knew what we were getting into when we took them in and misty has settled in 100%. took her about 3 days... and since tigerlily was wild in a field for a week... i figure it'll take longer for her but i expect all to be well within the week. :)

ahhhhhh kittens playing in the house.... so cuuuuuuute! :wuv:

both kittens have be de-wormed. the vet wanted to do it now instead of waiting for them to be 6 weeks old (as she could feed a very wormy tummy on them) - so... they are gaining confidence, weight and cuddles every day! :wuv:

Haha! I hear ya! I was the same way...and still am, even though I've had her for months now. It's especially difficult because she LOOKS normal, but is 100% het caramel....so folks are like "You paid HOW MUCH???" LOL It's really hard to explain why I'm so excited about some silly word like "het."

I actually keep a nice shot of an albino BP handy on the computer so I can say to folks that see our Malachi..."okay he looks like that on the outside but he's sorta like this *flash pic of albino* on the inside" LOL Sort of helps them understand the whole het thing and appreciate his genetic promise.

Hah...I do that, too, Jo. But unless you're a bp enthusiast...I'm afraid my caramel morph is not as exciting as the albino. Although they do nod with a bit more understanding when I tell them that caramels sell for about $6500!

here's a couple more photos of our little ones... first misty and tigerlily - you can see that misty is a little bigger than her sister and the rest of the rescues are twice the size of these two... so these are the runts of the litter.
