I have a REALLY stupid question here! :(

Aren't you afraid when you take you BP outside like that, placing it in grass, trees, bushes, etc...., that you might pick up unwanted hosts (i.e. ticks, mites, parasites, etc...)?

LOL, somehow with that progression the next then I expected to see was the snake taking a bite out of the peach...cartoonish style.

....must be something else in the flu shot I just got :rolleye2:

BPdad, not at all. And no, I'm not. If I saw anything ew-ish in the grass or on the tree I wouldn't put him there. And we just don't have ticks all the way down here in the valley. I'm not actually sure why. I might be more leery if I'd ever had been given any reason to be concerned, but I know a lot of other people that do that with their pythons too with no issues. So, it's not anything I've heard happening around here so I'm not terribly concerned about it.

    Schlyne, LOL. Could be. XD

i take my snakes outside in the summer... they love to bask in the trees or on the ground. i watch them very closely and seldom have more than one out at a time (and when there's two... then we have 4 sets of eyes watching them)

    never had a problem either.
