Rusty Reptiles is under construction

Hello everyone,
I'm sorry I haven't been around as I posted before the computer is down, and still down.
I wanted to hop on and just let you all know that The animals are all doing well. We have had a few recent cases but I'll post them at a later date.
I have recently come to the understanding that Winslow and I may not make the best pair. I have decided to seperate from him. I am hoping to have a new place during next month. Winslow is trying to handle it (slowly), Griffin is doing ok with it. He is a great kid and I will be staying in his life as I had since he was born. I am doing well, actually I haven't felt this good in a long time., It has been a very long past three years and I have been quietly contemplating this decision for the past two of those three. I feel good about it.
Right now the plan is Winslow will be staying in our home here, after I move I will still be completely involved in the rescue and we will work out a good system. Once I am established and depending on Winslow's actions I may break apart from him completely (again depending on his actions).
I know it may seem like alott to unload in one thread, but honestly this is good. If not great. I feel much better and am putting myself (and the animals) into a much healthier and safer position.
I hope all is well with everyone, I'll pop in as soon as I can.

Having run through that grind myself (as I am sure many others have) I wish you the best. It's hard to think about "thinking back on it" at this point, I am sure - but hang in there - all will be well!

Kudos for making this tough decision Rusty. It would likely be much easier to just leave things as they are. I wish you and the animals the best with this big life change!!! :D

Sounds like you have a lot going on now; but in your post, you really seem to be looking forward to the changes and are sure you are diong the right thing though; I wish you luck with everything. Keep us posted!

These things are never easy Rusty, been through this myself and even though it's for the best, it's a tough call to make and get the family through it. I'm glad you and Winslow are able to focus on Griffin's needs through this life change for the family. Thank you all for your overwhelming support.
Things are still the same, Sadly Winslow is not handling the situation very well. I've been in and out quite a bit, working a new job at an animal hospital and not being able to relax at this house, I've had to crash elsewhere here and there.
Today I found out that I've fractured my ankle. ( from an adventure last week). So I get to where one of those fun braces....
The worse thing is not being able to go home and crash when you don't feel good. But things will come around. I'm at the house now and was able to finally fix the computer. So I'll be able to pop in more often.
I hope all is well with everyone, and thanks to you all for letting me randomly vent.

Yeah I can handle the ankle, I'm just cranky..lol
Glad they were able to see you. Bolton Vet has been great to us, we love them around here.
I hope it was a clean bill of health for your guy.

Yep yep, some precautionary deworming (since they are all WC i am fairly sure) and they are all at perfect plumpy weights. Very nice people there.
