They are cute! They all look healthy/happy.

Thank you all for the kind comments, I'll have to get some pictures of jake up he's the big one weighing in at a good 5lbs.

....Because so may have asked it's me in the picture though it's about 6 months old, My lobes were at 1 1/8" but I've downsized back to 7/8" since than.

Ohhh how positively sweetttt! We have 3 ferrets.

When I saw the title of your thread, the first critter come to mind, was my ferrets...... carpet sharks they are!

ugh too cute! ive been thinking about getting one or a pair... i just read the term 'carpet sharks' in that Ferrets For Dummies- it is an excellent book for you fert folks! i loved it. now, if i can just persuade my mother that ferrets are good pets and not stink bombs... X_X

ot: i just found out my wonderfully special relatives have a ferret that causes their entire house to stink- i have no idea why but i plan on going to see them asap and find out how a single ferret up stairs can change the odor so horrificially through out the entire house.. eh.. well my grandmother told my mom and now my mother is dead set that ferts will make her house smell horrific..
i bet they're not changing bedding, cleaning the litter, and bathing too much all at once. no seriously.

back ot- that first one and the nearly all chocolate/black are too cute! but then again, they are all too cute! ugh. precious. chubby little tummy.

Unnutered males have a strong smell, normaly they don't stink but they can if they want to but the musk doesn't sick like skunks or sink as much.

I figure they got it at a pet shop either in montgomery or auburn and i think that all of those shops carry Marshall's ferrets as ive always seen the two black/blue? dots. So chances are it is fixed and descented but seriously though- the intelligence of these people is questionable 90% of the time. I think from what my grandmother told me that they probably got him/her on a whim for the two kids both under 8. I dont think there was any researching or actual effort on their part (there never is).
Ugh. I hate to say it, but i have some Extremely redneck family members.

Im thinking soon enough they'll get sick of the smell and i can step in to.. er.. help take it.. "He needed a good home MOTHER! How can you be so cold! He would have DIED" (sounds similar to what i told her about my bp) (still works at 18 *evil cakle*)
If nothing else, i plan on lending them my ferrets for dummies book.

Yeah, I had two ferrets, and if I didn't clean the litter daily then it would start to stink up the whole downstairs. They are crap factories like you wouldn't imagine. But they do make amazing little pets for the right people.
