Northwestern Berks Reptile Show (HAMBURG PA)

Anyone going?

I've never been before but my buddy Chris has and said I have to go. So he and I are going together.

Isn't that today?

Ok. Any idea of how far it is from Harford county, MD??? Because I've heard that they have hots there and if it isn't too far maybe I can go...

i used to work there during the shows, there are all sorts of neat stuff, alot of hots will be there. if you have not gone? go it is worth it, just make shure you get there early though, around 8am cause the line gets real long by opening time.

Man Allison! It's too bad I'm broke.....otherwise, me and Amber (ivvylea) would probably meet and hang with ya! The Hamburg show is about 1 hr from me. dang..... I met Amber at that show, and we clicked right away! We'd love to have you in our "circle". Just a note, the last time I went, It was SUUUPER CROWDED.....if you're going with the intention of making a purchase,be aggressive! and dress in shorts and a T or layers cause it was HOT!!!..and bring your camera, cause there's usually some nice hots too.

Shaun, it's about 2 hours and 45 mins away from Harford Co. So a bit of a trip.

Well, the money is the half of it......when you work a 12 hour shift, your alotted vacation time dissappears real quick.......

I went to the last show on August 5th. It was great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe I can meet a few bp.netters for the first time :D . It's an amazing show.

JIm, yes always at Hamburg. meet you in front of the concession stand at 1:00 I will be the guy in the smart pink polo. and if you dont have a smile on, then you are in the wrong place. :)

do you know marty piedle?, he is usually who i work for when i go. i will let you know more definitly by this friday if i am going 100% though. if i go i will wear my spiderman shirt.

Aleesha, stop teasing. I never told you, but I really like the girls from canada. :oops: Went up there bear hunting once, came home with a french canadian girl. true story. ;)

are we going to get a list together of who is actually going to be there?, it would be noce to meet a few of you there make my 3+ hour trip more worth while, aside from getting my pastel from ed that is.

I am going to get a table there in Oct. I used to vend at all of their shows but now just one or two a year. Stop by and say "Hi". Except for you Ed, no pink polos allowed at my table.......

Seems I spoke too soon, they sold out all the tables for this show; should be packed! :)

I usually wait until the last minute, guess that was a bad idea this time! Oh well, maybe there will be a cancellation and I might still get a spot.

i know that feeling, i always have table space when ever i have something to sell, but i don't blame you. but are you still going to go?

So who is coming exactly? I'll be at the food stand at 1:00 pm.

well i am off to the show. it is 0630 am, i will see whoever wishes to meet at 1 pm at the food stand.

well it is late monday morning, and i am just returning frm my weekend. well made to the show as planed even met BoidFinatic. great guy. and i am ashamed to say that was the only good thing at that show. they added more vendors/tables wich = less walk space through out the event. way over crowded and everyone was miserable. of course the rumors of a rattle snake or a gabby got loose in the event was fluttering around and supposadly bit some kid got bit, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah!!!!. i am sorry to say that was the most disguting reptile event i have ever gone to. i was lucky enuff to get with in 3 feet of only 4 tables, yeah that bad, even the vendors were complaining about it from the few i know and spoke to. on a side note, ed did not make it for very excusable reasons, (hope you are doing better), so no pastel for the moment, tuesday though ;). well i have found out there is no way i can leave that show no matter how bad it was with out getting something new. managed to pick up a very pretty female ball, (690 grams) for $20. i will post pics as soon as i am able to it will be about a week though, my camera is down. so sorry for the rant i just needed to get this all out.

I'm glad too I didn't go. I was going to go, but my weekend plans turned around and I was not able to make it. A few of my buddies said that is was really over crowded and it wasn't fun or enjoyable at all.

maybe I'll attempt to go to the one on Dec 2nd.

i really doubt i will attend another one at hamburg unless i am meeting someone in the parking lot. they need to limit the vendors there or get a larger building but i doubt that will work as they will try to overstuff no matter what.
