the answer is most normal Hypos you see on the market tend to darken with age and some look no better than real dark normals. These Hypos were sired by a super clean and colorful Hypo DH Ghosts produced by non other than Bill Kirby. Ssscales paired this DH Ghost with a real nice, clean and light Pastel female. This mix not only made for better looking babies, but hopefully will improve with age as these Hypo Pastels should stay clean and light and increase in color Vs dull out.

I hope to breed them to other morphs such as another Hypo Pastel for some top of the line out of this world Supers. Also seeing that the sire is a DH Ghost, there is a chance they are also Het for Anery (DH Ghosts) in which you hope to explore as well down the road. You also have plans to pair one up with an Albino for some knockout Sunglows! These are part of a few long term (3yr) projects i have.

this season i am going to pair up my own Rich Isle Salmons in hopes of holding back some of next years offspring to produce some Supers down the line. i have unrelated pairs so this will help the bloodlines. i have spent this year acquiring top of the line snakes in order to produce top of the line snakes myself. in my opinion there is no reason to produce second rate stuff because all you end up doing is makeing second rate stuff maby even third rate.

    Re: My Hypos
nope speckles are evil. not relly but i try to not have any of them. then you only get a few. but if you let a few slide here and there then befroe you know it your snakes look terriable.

    Re: My Hypos
yes they are all puppy dogs. they didnt even need to be tamed down. most babies that are handaled become verry tame. only boas that have been raised as breeders not pets become relly mean. i have one female that is 9ft and 30 lbs and she will just about chase you out of the room. but i have others that are that big that are so tame i would let (supervised ) kids handle. just make sure that you get a boa that is young. once they hit about 3-4ft it is not verry fun to tame them down due to the fact that there teeth at that point are starting to get long.

Your girls are turning out really nice Matt. How big are they now?

Keep me in mind when you're ready to start crossing for the T+ proving. I've got their brother. And he's staying really clean and light. :D :D Maybe we can swing a deal when the time comes?
