we rescued a kitten

10 days ago we rescued a little kitten. someone had dumped her off at my friend's farm and she didn't know how to eat or how to use the litter box. we figure she was 4 weeks old.

she's been given a clean bill of health and is doing great. she's eating, gaining weight and using the litter box with no problems at all.

so... without further adieu... here's misty. our new kitten. (i used red eye reduction on this pic which is why her eyes are looking a blue as usual... very very VERY pretty eyes she has!)

she's completely bonded with me... thinks i'm her mama. she likes everyone else in the house but when i come into the room - she HAS to be on or near me. :wuv:

she's a shoulder cat... loves to sit and sleep on your shoulder as you can see in these pics - she's on my hubby's shoulder! :carrot:

Wow, how sad that people just dump animals like that :(

my friend called and said she was looking for a good home and i said, ya there's lots out there and then she said, "no... i'm looking for a REALLY good home..." and i laughed, realizing i was about to adopt a new kitten!

oh he has a shirt for every day of the month LOL his favorite is "if i throw a stick... will you leave?" LOL he wears that one for my girlfriend... her nickname is now "stick" LOL (and she loves it! makes her feel very thin!!!)

no not yet... she's still so young. but i bet she will soon...

She is pretty! I love her coloration/markings. Congrats for rescuing her and I wish you all the good karma possible!

It's just terrible that people just toss these sweet little babies.

and that's just how it was too jo! i saw her and that was it... she picked me (with her eyes) and i couldn't get loose!
