My new additions from NARBC

Well I only bought three snakes this time!

This is a little hypo honduran male. I've got a het hypo female already.

I couldn't resist this little male lemon/jungle pastel male from NERD. Now I just have to pay off my spider female from Adam!

And.. a male hog island! I really didn't think I'd find a good one, but this fellow is ORANGE! You can't really see his tail since he's sitting on it, but he's smokin'!

The show was awesome.. Kara was lovely to talk to as usual, and I got to hold some really cool morphs at their booth. The wall (woma x ball) was really cool and there were many others that I can't even think of now. I also touched a chinese alligator (very endangered) and got to drool over a 9' or so boelen's python.

Congrats! It sounds like the show was very exciting today! I never noticed how popular Tinley was!

Now my new babies need names!

The hondo is a little stinker. When the lady at LLLReptile was sexing him he got away and zoomed through the deli cups on their table. I had to catch him before he got on the floor and slithered away!

BEAUTIFUL additions to your collection, April! Very impressive! The little hondo sounds like a real handful!

I saw that Hogg!! He was beautiful, I even tried to talk my dad into buying him this morning. He'll make some beautiful babies with your female.

The only thing I picked up today was a 1.1 pair of Phelsuma Madagascarienis grandis, they are beauts! I was tempted to buy some breeder size females from John Piro as well.

I tell you if I had room for lizards.. well.. I would have come home with more! The hatchling viper geckos I saw were just ADORABLE.

I would've loved to have taken pictures, the one item I forgot at home was my battery charger for the cam.:( I'm still in Tinley, so I'll have to take some pictures of them tomorrow when I get home. Sorry to dissapoint Judy!

I told a couple of people at work that I have 30 snakes now and I got some weird looks (and these people know I keep snakes) they almost look like they feel sorry for me.. it's sad. :rolleyes:

April, you are correct, Phelsuma are day geckos...and I'll post mine in a NARBC addition post of my own.:D

For the Hondo, something speedy...
- Honda (harhar)
- Wiley (as in Wiley Coyote - he's fast, but not quite fast enough!)
- Juan Pablo (NASCAR and former F1 driver from Columbia...that's as close to Honduras as I can get for a car driver name =P)

For the pastel:
- Curley! (since McKevin bred him, teehee!)

For that HAWT Hogg!
- Harley (the Hog? like the motorcycle? :D)
- Handsome Bob / Handsome Roy (the brother to Jaime's Handsome Rob?)

Well mr Diva already has a name.. Calisto. It's a greek name that means 'most beautiful one'.. a good match for Diva!
