My dealings with MKR

as you all know I have very little money to spend. I keep looking to see if I could find something with in my price range but no such luck.

so I desided to write in my blog in myspace just to get it out about the fact that my dream was to some day breed beautiful morphs but that I felt that dream fadeing away.

with as little income as I have (enough to buy food for my snakes and vet bills and any other emergency buys, water bowls, heating pads, extra tubs ect ect) I didnt see my self getting any farther than picking up male normal ball pythons from people.

well my my myspace page has a link to my husbands websites hexibase.com and teamtoxicbass.com and both has his contact info. and i got a call from MKR and Joe wanted to know everything I wanted to do. what my true dream was.

Thanks to him and Wes I can fufill my dream and I couldent be any happier. I actualy started crying. I gave up on ball python breeding all togeather. but now I have that jumpstart I really needed.

Burn me all you want people. I might be mad about it but you know what, I have the start I need to make my dream become reality. and they have been nothing but helpful, kind and very informitive.


I know I will never get as big of a breeder like Markus Jane or Adam but dang it I want to start out right and with this nudge I just got it will happen.

if what I just did caluses you to think twice about buying form me, talking to me, or selling to me then your sad. I'm tired of getting burned, harassed, joked on, pushed around and sent PMs about my dealings with MKR.

I'm very happy and greatful for this and you know what ... if you want something to burn me on or harass me about... do it about this...

there you go. get on me for being a female dog on a public forum. not about something good that finaly happens to me . nothing good ever happens to me, and when it finaly dose I end up walking on egg shels around you all so I can still be "good little jessie" I want to shout out that something great happened to me and this is what I get? Flame Wars and me being the brunt of todays jokes?

I'm saddened by this, hurt, and most of all I feel let down.

You know what, Jessie? I AM thrilled that you're so happy with the snakes you're getting! Truly! And I'm sorry that you feel attacked because of the whole MKR thing. I don't think it's anyone's intention to be upset at you or because of you.....it's just that MKR is in the process of doing some very bad things that maybe some people can see and some people can't. Those that see it feel very strongly about what they see and they HATE to see anyone in our community get taken by these guys. But it's happening anyhow.


I really hope everything works out for you and in a few years you are pippin' out the babies of your dreams. But posts like "piss off" and "bite me" make it really hard to express things like that.

So lets say I support them would that mean I am included in the comment above? If so then I have something. MKR does not kill brain cells. They are very good people IMO and many others. On the BOI he made a thread about him loosing so much money and what ever and then some people decided to respond and say things like " You deserved it". I think that is one reason why he doesnt like many small time breeders because they bite off more then they can chew! Just my side of it all.( Sorry if any feelings where hurt I did not mean to if I did just stating my opinion)

I think reading comprehension should be on your short list of to-dos (especially before you give out negative rep points). I never called YOU a lowlife. Read it again, please..

all these threads are the same all i see is people getting jumped on for having different opinions. and as far as not having a passion for there coustomers. i dont know anyone who makes it easier to own these awesome snakes.

You are one of many that can't see the forest through the sleaze. If you don't "get it", there is nothing I can do to convince you. Of course, you sell Boas. Lets see how you feel when MKR states that they are going to take over the Boa market and put people out of business. And for the record, I have the balls to back up ANYTHING I say in person. I make it a point not to say anything that I can't back up.

I actualy got aressted for telling a cop to f off I have alot more on my record for my mouth... I really can be like this in person... when and if i get mad I end up having an anger problem. look I'm going to go walk around for a bit to calm down so that way we all can sit down and talk like adults.

Do you have a clue what you are talking about? The two lowlifes I referred to were Wes and Joe, not anyone on this forum. Once again, reading is fundamental. :)

i just relly would like to see a fourm where everyone is calm . where a person can post there new stuff and only have positive comments made.

it actualy takes alot to make me mad and my day started off at a bad point.

I would like to have that to. I'm usaly the one here that tells every one to stop fighting. I posted this to make a point not to get flamed! and what happens? I get more burns... I'm going to have to go to the er for 3rd degree burns if this dosent stop.

you are right. I just get so mad when people accuse me of making the wrong move when clearly for me it is the best. It is almost like they are trying to run my life and controle me verbaly as to who I can buy from and who I can't. If i wanted to know something about some one i will inquire.
Let me make up my mind, let me make my own mistakes, and let me do what I would like to do. I didnt see any of the breeders her offer me a nice starter package like this ... MKR can afford to do what they did for me and not feel any pressure in there check book.
and as for me feeling riped off about the "great deal" I got I doubt any time soon they will lower there prices to what I just paid. and when they do lower there prices that low The snakes I bought will have already paid them selft off 5 fold.

I sincerely and honestly cannot see why anyone who supports the breeding-for-profit of these animals would buy from MKR. You did state in a previous thread, your concern for the eventual prices of the snakes you hope to breed one day, so you have to care at least a little. So why buy from the people who are dragging BP prices down into the mud? I cannot in my rational mind comprehend this.
I am not a rich girl by any means; yet I managed to save up and purchase a male pastel this year at fair market price. I just know that personally, I can post the origins/breeders of the snakes I've recently bought, with pride in my signature, and that I chose breeders whose track records are respected and who are not lowballing the market; that is all that matters to me personally.

You know I dealt with MKR and NO ONE said anything to me about it as far as burning me even when I mention my purchase now a days. It seems like more girls get flammed on the men.

when you said that you are like most people and dont have 15,000 for many morphs. MKR makes them affordable for people like you and me. think what it would of been like to be able to buy a albino with that same amount of money. if you can tell me how it ruins the biz to let people who cant afford a expensive prices to be able to own high end morphs, i would like to hear it. if anything it is going to make the hobby easier to enjoy by all. so maby you need to breed a few more snakes to make the same amount of money you were before. if that is what it takes to see more and more people enjoying these critters than i am all for it. and it is not like there is still not going to be high priced bp's around there are new morphs created every year.

I thought this thread was to discuss her transaction, not talk about who hates MKR and whatnot...

This thread is getting out of hand and if it doesn't get back on track REALLY fast, it's gonna be locked and maybe tossed.


I don't care what your position is regarding MKR or anyone who would buy from them, there is NO reason to curse anyone out, nor any of the rest of the venom we're seeing in the forums today. I also ordered from MKR recently and have to say that I've been very pleased with their attention and service. IMO they are a great bunch of guys and have been extremely courteous and generous to say the least.

i think jasballs was responding to matt's comment about how he wasn't burned for buying from MKR and he (matt) felt that only the women were being "picked on" so jasballs was just giving him what he thought he was asking for.

i think everyone can agree here that MKR is like salt... and even the mention of them is like cutting open people and rubbing salt in the wound.

so... i suggest everyone stop discussing MKR here... people who want to support them... well MKR has a forum for that. people who want to disucss snakes and the love of the hobby... welcome to bp.net!

I don't think anyone has questioned their customer service. Its their business ethics and the coating of slime covering both of them. Its interesting that Wes hasn't spoken up since he is the real brains behind the operation. Anyone can have the wisdom to hire a used car dealer to sell for him.

I thought this was a public forum where ALL members can discuss BP's and their experiences in a family environment? Yet, this person was so threatened about posting her positive experience with a breeder that she started the thread as if she was walking down the plank.

i agree andre... there is no need for anyone to swear or to be mean in this thread. people will support what they choose. some people buy shoes and clothes made in sweatshops without even batting an eye... others buy from sweatshops without realizing it and others who find this completely unacceptable... make sure they know what is made where and put their purchases where their ethics and morals lie.

doesn't mean others are not moral or have ethics... just means that their priorities lie elsewhere. :sunny:
