What you should know about "Lady"
When I got lady I was told that he was a female by the owner but He was not probed it was a guess. once I moved here The breeder moved in and probed him and I was told again it was a girl. A week ago he shed and pooed, I cleaned the cage and found what looked like sperm plugs. well 2 days ago I found a few more and took them in to the vet and I was told that Lady was infact a boy.
he was only probed once.
just thought you all should know that.

Re: What you should know about "Lady"
lol my stories are more due to my bad luck. the worst things always happen to me. I buy 2 "female" snakes and find out that both are boys. My male snakes desides to "love" my hand, and my cute little "mud turtle" turns out to be a cute baby snapper that after having it for 3 months and never having a problem with it desides to try and take my finger off at the time the vet tells me she is a snapper.

This one time, at band camp........ :P LMAO
Re: What you should know about "Lady"
the snapper storie is the latest besides what happened this morning to my husband.
My husband and his friend deside to fix the exhust on our CRX. well after taking of the old exhust my husband gets a wild hair up his butt and thinks it would be funny to see if the CRX would shoot flames. (mind you it is a frount wheel drive and it is up on jack stands in the rear ) so my husband neels down outside the car turns it on and presses on the gass. I told him to make shure the break was up and the car in nutral. "yeah it's fine Jess" he tells me. so he starts the car presses on the gas and the car lunges foreward draging him, the jack and finaly falling off the stands crushing them for at least 5 feet befor crashing in to our shed. I spent the next 45 min cleaning the road rash from his knee and repeating his "yeah it's fine Jess" reply to when i asked him about the break and gearing.

this is a perfect example of why learning to sex your snakes should be something you learn early on..that way this situations can be avoided by actually sexing the snakes yourself BEFORE the purchase is made...too many unscrupulous people try to unload their unwanted males as "females" on unsuspected people, which is why I either stick to people I trust to sell me a properly sexed snake (and would also make a right out of a wrong if it turned out to be missexed, cause even the pros can be wrong from time to time) or I go to the sellers place, and sex it myself, before handing over any $$
Re: What you should know about "Lady"
And you didn't take pictures?????????
That's it. No more stories.
Re: What you should know about "Lady"
well at that moment i was so mad at him I didnt think to take photos. LOL
As for the 2 snakes i payed 150 shiped for both so it wasnt all that bad... the bad part is that this person was a friend of mine that i trusted and she garenteed the sex, now she wont answer the phone or e mails. and i know she is home. she lives by my moms work in AZ
Re: What you should know about "Lady"
So you paid $150 for two normal males?

Re: What you should know about "Lady"
well I'm now over run with males and I still cant seem to get my hands on a female. I tryed putting them all up for sale/ trade for a female but no takers. and I cant right now afford to just give them away. I need to eat too ya know.
