Re: New Spider Ball
LOL Ed. He looks great glad to know he doesn't come from a "puppy mill"

Re: New Spider Ball
This guy was produced by Sean and Celia down in Louisiana, I like to bring in a couple new morphs every year. that keeps the bloodlines strong and you have no problems with inbreeding. you have little to no control over inbreeding when you are just mass producing a morph. :)

Re: New Spider Ball
OH come on we know you photochopped out the certain letters from a certain vendor in the midwest....;)

Re: New Spider Ball
Not too bad for a "middleman":P, can I have it when Joe puts you out of business? :P LMAO:rofl:
All joking aside, nice Spider Ed ;)

Can inbreeding cause problems?

If animals with genetic problems are being breed problems can occur.
For instance, any responsible breeder will not breed any spiders that have head wobbles in hopes of outbreeding the trait so much that the condition no longer exists. But is someone is solely interested in the money, do you really think that they care if they could be passing on a genetic flaw?
There are several other instance where inbreeding can be a problem. However if the animals are healthy, then inbreeding should not be an issue until you get past the second generation.

Re: New Spider Ball
I really like that bottom spider.... Head pattern is super cool, and the rest of the reduced spider patterning is awesome!

Re: New Spider Ball
Ken, I choose to keep the bigger of the two. because he is growing faster and will be another breeder male, quickly. If there was ever two different personalities in snakes these two are night and day. the one in the front is very shy and the pic. shows that, the complete opposite is the one in the back, hes very outgoing and inquisitive. look at the look hes giving. :P
