    Perfect hatchling tub??
At almost twice the floor space as a 6qt but at half the height I think this is the PERFECT ball python hatchling tub. With the same basic rack space I could get just as many of these lower/wider tubs and they offer more growing room than a 6qt

    Halo sure thinks so!

Here is a rack I tossed together. It features flexwatt back heat and a Helix thermo.

you threw the rack together or threw the tubs in an existing rack, because if you just made a rack just like that (snapping fingers) i will buy one LOL! It looks like it was from molded plastic or something...

Is that a 27 qt.? If so, that's what I'm using, but mine's not exactly a hatchling.

These tubs come three high in a paper tray type of storage unit. I just use the tubs and toss the surround shelf. These are awesome because of the shallow height. This is just a test rack to figure out if these tubs will work well. So far so good!

Hey Cue...what material is that made from? And where did you buy it? (the material that is) It didn't really look like wood...unless it is coated with something....just curious. I built the rack for our sterilite 1996 tubs from wood...but the thing weighs a ton!!

    Thanks!

It's 3/4" Mel and I bought it at Home Depot. The sheets are 49x97" and cost ~$30 per sheet. The weight it heavy but the final product is sturdy and will last. Very easy to work with aswell.

I am def. using the melamine for our rack, should we ever get a free day to build it :) My mom just bouggt a bunch of these modular melamine shelves/cabinets/etc; I put them together for her and it was easy; just use screws and well a screwdriver or drill helps too, lol. They are really sturdy; I was thinking about swiping hers and making something outta it, but she might be kind of mad.. I saw it at HD and was like.. woooow! They sell it raw!
Who here's with me, for buying stock in melamine, lol..
