Re: Building Tank Enclosure

I changed the pics to links. It's not a big deal...I do it all the time. ;) It's a learning process and you'll get it figured out in time. There are photo editing programs that you can use to resize your pictures to more "Internet Friendly" sizes and then you can upload those images to your gallery here.
Re: Building Tank Enclosure

Hehe...no problem. You have to be really bad to actually get in trouble around here. :P
Re: Building Tank Enclosure
So, do you think it will make an okay enclosure. . . of course i still have a lot of work to do. The base of each half is 1.5'x2' . . . I'm kinda worried it will me too much room for babies. . . but I'll get lots of hides :)

BTW, it's a 75 gallon tank (I have one for my fish). If you are planing on heating it via overhead bulbs, then you must get the aluminum or steel mesh. The fiberglass is softer to the touch, but it is no good for the high heat output of lamps. If you heat via UTH, then the fiberglass mesh is preferable, just in case the snakes decide to rub their noses against it. ;)

Uh oh, now you've done it. . . it's actually a 67 and some gallon tank true volume. . . I'm a fish and aquarium specialist. ;) lxwxh divided by 231. . . proper inside dimension. hehehehe I'm planning on heating uth my apartments already at 80-85. I never considered the snake rubbing against it. Thanks for the advice. . . fiberglass it is. . . but will it be strong enough?
