Emergency!!!! My Kid Has Been Kidnapped!!!

this is no joke my kid was kidnapped by his babysitter today in the dallas fort worth arlington area, please keep an eye out for him, baby sitter is a 6 foot male, dark complection and is names chris, he has a grey streek aproximitly 1 inch in the front hairline. if you have seen or do see please contact the police asap, thank you all. here is the pictures of my son:

my son has been returned to his mother, police are questioning the babysitter at this time, thank you for your prayers. i will update as i get info.

well no charges can be pressed since he has been missing for less than 24 hours, only 12-18 hours. but was givin a sitation for non use of a child restraining harness. this i think is total B.S., but i wantd to thank everyone once again for their prayers. thank you all.

is there a reason for his actions?

not that i know of he gave some crap story about someone being in a car accident, then it was the car battery died, blah, blah, blah. i should be finding out in a few minutes. and will update then.

I dont think I would be able to do anything if my child went missing....are there alot of members on here that are in your area? I'm just wondering what made you post here.

concidering a few members are from texas, i figured i would atleast try, they ended up being in mansfield tx, with no good explination as to why. we will be searching for another babysitter at this time, so if anyone in the dfw area knows of anyone please PM me. on a side note they were 10 mins away from launching an amber alert.

If this happened to my kid they would not have enough left of the person to prosecute;) .

I'm just wondering though, I have a toddler and if she ever went missing that last thing I would be doing would be sitting on bp.net. Call me rude or what not, I'm just stating the obvious here. I think I would be runnning up and down the streets freaking out, there wouldnt be a secound I would be able to do anything other then be out actively looking for my toddler. I was just wondering, it was your first post on here so it seems odd to me.

Another weird thing is....
I've been looking up a lot of the news in TX and those areas that the OP said about. I've found nothing about it, except for Kidnapped Plano girl found safe.
The said girl was only gone an hour and it made news.... So I'm sure that if this was true, then it would have been listed in the news stations I've look up online. I do not believe this is true at all. Sorry. Throw stones all you want at me but I've seen my share of people making stuff up just to get attention. I'm not one who likes to fall for a hoax.

Call the cops, call all the people you know. Get in touch with everyone. Spread the word of this. Someone has to of seen this insane perv have your baby somewhere. Oh my, I am soo sorry. And I WILL keep a very very close eye out for the man and to help return your sweet baby!

Oh. I only read the first post, and my motherly instinct took over. I was upset. I know what its like to have kids and get worried if they stay out too late nad I'd die if one of mine was every kidnapped.:(

WOW!, i am so glad there are caring people on this site. thank you all sooooooo much. ok i will try to answer everyone questions. ok i am his father i am seperated from his mother living in another state, hence why i was online trying anything i could. my son has been checked and cleared, blood work included no drugs or alcohol in his system. trust me i would love to mess this guy up, but it was my wife not me who chose this guy, and that has changed after this nightmare. my son was returned shortly after the cops were called, yes but the child was missing anywere between 12-18 hours yesterday, there was numerouse phone calls to his cell and text messages to him letting him know to return the child and that the cops have been contacted. that was when he decided it was time to call his mom and return with my son. and with them not issueing an amber alert when he returned no kidnapping charges could be filed, i do not agree with that but i am not the cops. i hope this has cleared everyons questions if not post them here and i will do all i can to answer them for you. once again a BIG, HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE ON BP.NET for their caring thoughts and comments.

on a side note, i love my kids soooo much, and i have never felt so helpless when this happened, living in another state not being able to do much of anything to find my kid. this was the scariest thing i have ever gone thrue and hope and pray i never have to again.

So here in Florida we have what is called an Amber alert, I child goes missing and its posted on the news, radio and on our interstate/turnpike digital signs. We also have an alert that goes out if a child is lost in a store, called code Adam. Both of these happen the minute someone says there child is missing. It was my understanding that 24 hour after the fact law was for adults. I ran away as a child and they were on me with in the hour. The 24 hour law is for our cops sanity, that way there they dont have to go chasing after ever tom :cens0r::cens0r::cens0r::cens0r: and harry that leaves his wife, gets drunk and passes out in an alley or who just wants to leave and start a new life.
If your wife was told they have to wait 24 hour before searching for a toddler, then I would a) take it to court and b) move out of that state. That child could of been in a ditch some where, and your telling me the cops said they had to wait 24 hours, he was with a non-family member male.....this in my opinion would be reason enough to start looking ASAP.

So I dont know what to think about this.

i was miss informed, it was not a 24 hour wait since he was missing, it was a certain time with out contact before sending out and amber alert, i think(no positive 2 hours), and just as they were making the call to do that is when he pulled up in the car. trust i think it is total B.S. because i know if it was their kid it would have been 2 mins not 2 hours.

i have yet to speak to my lawyer waiting on him to return my call at this time, but i will be up-dating as i get more info.

i'm sorry... i assumed you were his mother... sorry dad!

There is no 24 hour wait for an Amber Alert here, either. Or a 2 hour wait, for that matter. It can be activated as soon as law enforcement determines there is a child missing and in danger.

I knew the Amber alert was started elswhere I believe her name was Amber Brown? I was just saying that I thought it was every where since that law was passed. I dont know *shrugs*

I agree with you. I don't think it's a joke, but it's still very hard to figure out. I know I would not be on an internet forum reading different threads if my child were missing.

I would be as far away from a computer as possible, and as close to the kidnapper; I'd be gnawing off their arm or something. I don't have kids, but if it were, say my niece; someone would be going down.

That's true for me as well, but if I was two states away (a province away I guess?) you'd be stuck at home. You don't want to get on a plane becuase then you can't use your cellphone. As I see it he was trying to get the word out and thought this was another good avenue. When you can only concentrate on your anxiety, you'll do funny things I guess. Who knows what I would do if someone I love went missing; but I can assure you I wouldn't be completely rational doing it.
