Red Headed Ratsnakes

EDIT: Actually, I'm not entirely sure they're technically ratsnakes. Definitely colubrids though!

Yup I've never seen anything like those before till she posted about them!

The book I have calls them red headed rats, but I think it's pretty out of date, lol. Beautiful snakes and very hard to care for! Asian rats are amazing. Nice big size without being really bulky, and just spectacular coloring. :love:

That's Brie from deviantart isn't it? I looooooooooooooove her photographs! Awesome looking snakes too, and their pattern does remind me of ratsnakes.

Very cool and pricey too!!! There was a reverse trio 2.1 for 900$ on kingsnake!!!

Very well could be, Rapture! She posts some gorgeous stuff on LJ, so I wouldn't be surprised! That pair are in good hands, I bet they'll thrive with her!

And yeah, wow! $900 is a lot to spend on a snake with that high a mortality rate to me, but man... if it all works out, SO worth it. Just gorgeous. :)

Yes! Those are awesome! She goes by Kestrel on the moreliapythons.com board also. She got a really great deal on those and with any luck, she will have cbb babies next year. If she does, I am getting a pair!! :carrot:
