    Ask and ye shall recieve!
Still kinda under construction, but done enough to open it up. Just needs some cosmetic touch ups... but Blue Gorgon now has an art shop! I've only included the more recent pieces thus far but lots of fun Medusa products are now available! The Blood Python greeting card would be great for Halloween! :P Posters, framed prints, cards, stickers, magnets... wee!

    http://www.cafepress.com/bluegorgon/

I only have the one style of Medusa shirt so far because it didn't look right to me somehow without those dark sleeves "framing" them. But if there's a product you'd like to see one of these on, just let me know and I can add it. :)

    Picks, Pans, Feedback?

And also, thank you so much for the suggestion! This is SO much better than the little 8X10 prints I was trying to peddle. Without BP.Net there wouldn't be a Blue Gorgon, so thanks and thanks agan! Sorry I haven't been around much, largely tired and working on a nice case of carpal tunnel, heh! Little Irwin is settling in nicely, and has managed to poo on me already! Gotta nail me two more times to catch up with Gomez.

Thank you, Joe! :D I have a red-tailed boa Medusa penciled as we speak. :) Course as my scanner literally just died... um... dunno when I can start coloring it. :( Working on that... So, erm, yes, folks who said you were interested in posters and such, the timing would be really good. Lack of scanner is not good.

I did just finish another piece though, and although it's not Medusa/Herp related I'll post it here anywhos. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. It's entitled "Bloddeuwedd"

    http://www.bluegorgon.com/bloddeuwedd.jpg

Bloddeuwedd (which means "Flower Face") is from a Celtic/Welsh myth that's reminiscent of the story of Lilith. Made to be a wife, but had ideas of her own and was punished for it. Bloddeuwedd was created by Math out of flowers to be the bride of his foster son Llew Llaw Gyffes. She didn't love him, however, and fell in love with someone else. They plotted together to kill Llew Llaw Gyffes, and when this failed she was punished by Math. He turned her into a barn owl, alone and shunned by other birds. Thanks Jo for helping me figure out how to pronounce her name with your Gaelic savvy-ness!

Thanks guys! The Succubus Blood Python is Karen's favorite too, hehe. We might get a couple of Medusa throw pillows from the shop. :) Not to mention posters and/or framed prints and magnets... We'll likely be our own best customers and defeat the whole purpose.

Me too, anthros are fun to draw! :) Best of both worlds, and chock full of symbolism!

Those are lovely! I adore the expressions, Snugglesleep slayed me with the cute, and the bird dragon rocks! :D Your stuff actually reminds me of Dark Natasha's Anubis pieces.

Meh! I want some of those posters but I have NO wall space!

Does Cafe Press do Christmas ornaments? I'm thinking a Medusa Xmas set would be cool (and my tree has room!). =D

I don't remember Nepenthes, but he's super cool! He reminds of a children's book about a muffin munching dragon...can not remember the name...

Re: Ask and ye shall recieve!
Dark Natasha is AMAZING. Check out Kyoht too, if you're not familiar! Her Nagas blow me away, and her gallery includes easily the cutest aye aye's on the net!

Cassandra, there are some oval and circular shaped ornaments available and I'll get right on that! :) Isn't Nepenthes a cutie? It's full name is Nepenthes the Curious, if I remember correctly. And I only say "it" because Nepenthes refers to everything regardless of gender "it", lol! Most my fantasy pieces have stories behind them. :P

I have a whole mess of thumbnails I need to make into full pieces still. A Lilith/RTB Medusa, a Hindu art inspired VBB/Taiwanese Beauty Medusa, a Silent Hill inspired Mandarin rat Medusa (still having trouble positioning that one), and a biker gang of Satyrs called "Tartarus's Angels", lol! We just replaced the scanner, so back to work with me!

Don't worry, I am familiar with a lot of anthro-style artists... :) Kyoht is another that ranks high on my list. I watch a lot of anthro artists on deviantart.com as well.

Hehe, you're way ahead of me. ;) Those two and Silverblue are my faves. Beautiful stuff.

and Gorgon-eous ornaments are now up! :P That was easy. Sadly the white on most of them shows, they're not the best shape for it, but still... ornaments!

Cool stuff, Sheree!!! Too bad you've caught be in between paychecks! :( *sigh*

One suggestion, tho......change the font color for the table headers of shipping rates, customs, etc.....I can't read the text in the black background. Not enough contrast between the black and whatever light blue? text is in there. Some of the other part of the text is difficult to see---NOT as bad as in the black, but maybe just a little more contrast of hue or color contrast???

Can't wait until I get paid, so that I can pick up some of your pillows and maybe a canvas bag or two. :)

Okay..now how do I turn off the "italics" on the keyboard????????

Good eye, RuLyn! Thank you! I didn't even see that, because Cafepress has a weird set up for doing the html on there and I'm used to working from scratch. :P I was also so focused on getting the products up, I didn't even check that page. I think I've got it now! What do you think?

Thanks!! MUUUCH easier to read. Not as pretty:rolleyes: but easier on the eyes..and as a potential customer, I'd be more apt to search than just say WTH? and "walk away".

Re: Ask and ye shall recieve!
Yay! I definitely want it all to be as user friendly as possible, which I think I've finally got down with the gallery section of the site. Don't want to lose function for the sake of style! Thank you so much for catching that! I still need to get a banner together for the shop front!

I'm gonna get on a snake photo gallery on the main site too, there's totally not enough beauty pics on there and the ones there are old and small! *babbles and gets to work*

Thank you! I do need to get on an albino too! Hmmm... Right now I have a red tailed boa getting inked, another beauty snake piece (Blues & Taiwans together) being penciled, and plans for a Mandarin rat and a Green Anaconda. :D

Thank you both! I'd love to have a smaller version of the banner on the site, but I think it'll be a while before I can really do any paid advertising. I'd like to at least have snakes available too first. :P I'm still in the building up stages, focusing on healthy snakes and more artwork!

Beautiful site, Aleesha! Have I told you that my Mom's a reiki master? I couldn't get a hold of her this weekend because she was giving someone an attunement, lol! :) Feel free to PM if you'd like to yack about it!

So you're the one who did those! Wow I've had a couple of those saved for a long time. I found the Pied Piper online quite awhile ago. I had it on my myspace back when people still used myspace! Lol

    Awesome work!
