i cant wait... unfortunately i think i may have to go by myself since my wife will be 8 mo pregnant though :rolleyes:

I'm hoping to go, not staying for the weekend like last year but maybe Saturday or Sunday.

Yes, my husband and I are planning on going, it should be wonderful. There will be so much to look at.

I'll be there Saturday, and Sunday...sometime during those two days I'm also going to the Shedd( Komodos!)...Bears Stadium! Go Bears!, and the HH Backer show. Phew, busy weekend ahead.

nice, i'll be up there all weekend.. a buddy of mine lives about 20 min from tinley park so i get free room and board too :)

I'll be there sat and sunday for sure. I think I'll be there friday night as well. I've got to call the hotel and find out which days I reserved the room for! I made the reserv 6 months ago and I can't remeber if I went both nights, or just sat night :P

I'm so psyched for the show! There's so much I'll be looking for/at, I'm taking my camera, but I'll probably be too excited to take pictures....but for those of you not attending I'll sure try!

Who knows what suprises I'll find myself bringing home.:carrot:

Is anyone entering the photo contest? I am! I work at a photo store, so I get to print my own stuff. Any one in the Chicago (Lincoln Park) area who needs their pictures printed pm me. I wont sabatoge them :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:. lol.

me personally i wouldn't mind looking into het albinos, or het pastels. I dunno if i will get one there (unless one is irrisistable) but more talk to breeders and see whats going down!

Please don't let anyone try to talk you into het pastels. A ball is either a Pastel or not. As it's a (co)dominant trait, the "het" and "homozygous" forms are both visibly different from a normal/wild type.

Main things I'm looking for are a male JCP and a male hog island (not counting on finding one up to my standards though.. hard to find)

Other than that.. who knows? I'm picking up some AP racks, but those are already paid for. If I find a pastel I like at a price I can afford, maybe I will pick one up.

No real things I have my heart set on to get...a lot I would love to get however. But like April with her Hogg male, I'll have to find the perfect specimens.

If I finish my vivarium in time I'll be looking for 1.1 or 2.1 Dendrobates azureus, Dendrobates tinctorius, or Dendrobates auratus.

I want to go and look at a few different monitors...

I would like to find another nice pair of leopard geckos. And possibly a new crested gecko.

I'm not making any promises to what I'm getting, I guess we'll see when I come home. :D

Sorry i ment het PIED, but i am also thinking about getting a pastel as well (got my wires crossed for a min), i tried to change it but i can't edit it GRRRRR! thanks for pointing that typo out tho!!! I had just asked about spiders and pastels/dom/co-dom in a previous thread just a few days ago.

I wasn't sure what to expect but after looking at some pictures posted of other events it looks like it will be a good time.

I'm making my mom go with me since my boyfriend has to work. I need company for the 3 1/2 hour drive south.
