Don't you love the colors variations! I have one of those blues, is it recessive? I haven't bred her yet, but I adore those. And the solid tan is cool too, I suddenly have a bunch showing up in my litters.
Gorgeous heathly rats, love to see them!

Yeah I believe it is recessive, but I have no clue the actual genetics....

My first 4 russians were 1 baby out of 10-15, so only one blue out of the whole litter....

    Recently I had one pop out 4 blues(from a normal) in a 14 litter....

I am raising them up and will be breeding blue to blue to see if they make all blues.... I need to find some americans around so I can play with those too :)

'Dey not Russian Blue, hun :) Those are American Blue, a lighter variation. Russian blue is much darker, like a darker slate gray. I'll see if I can find a picture.

Nice marked beebs, some breeders would die for a few of those markings.

I do see dark dark russian blue pics, and light light american blue pics... seems like these are in between?

    Hrmmm :) now I R confoozed....

We also have some platinums? That are so close to the same color when they are younger, gets tricky in low light :)
