What is this world comming to?

I wonder at times how much longer this world is going to exist at the rate its going at.Lets see we have parents worried about being fined because they love a natural setting in THEIR back yards.They are also worried that the club house they built on THERE property to give there kids a place to enjoy is going to be torn down,all because of someone being jealous of them.We also have to watch our kids every move in order to make sure some freako does not grab them.About a year back we had a young girl that was grabbed while waiting for the school bus.Well after numerous hours of them doing things to her she managed to escape and found help.Well these pigs were arrested and placed in general population in the jail.Well to make a long story short,one of the guys was beaten to the extreme that he spent a lengthy time in the hospital.People here were more concerned about his well being then how much abuse they placed on the little girl.Kids are selling drugs everywhere you look and noone punishes them or the parents for allowing this crap to go on.If they do try to disipline there child they take a chance of being arrested and being charged with child abuse.People are killing others just because they have had a bad day,then when its time for them to be punished they use the insanity crap and go to a mental ward.Parents are killing there kids just because they are tired of them.Our kids have to deal with other kids bringing knives and guns to school like its a neccesity to survive till the end of the day.I was talking to our neighbor the other day and she mentioned something that she watched on tv recently.It seems that you can be charged with endangering the life of your unborn child if you are smoking in your car while being pregnant.I can not remember where it was she said that a lady was arrested for this when someone called the police on her.If i have wrote something here that offends anyone here and you decide to give me negative rep points please do me a favor first.Only give me negative points if what i wrote is false,not just because you object with what i wrote.Thank you

The world becomes more courrupt every single day. Thats why us animal lovers must stick together.:)

It's true. The world is going to hell in a handbasket and our kids are the ones who are going to have to live in it. I'm horrified by all the stories I've read about children just being grabbed and never found again. :(

This is 100 % true the good men in this nation have had their hands tied for years by laws meant to protect our "freedoms" and the fear the our words and actions might offend someone. Is it too late no! Will it get worse YES if we let it. We as citizens chose our leaders. I am proud to say that I voted for a president that on open TV admits to praying for our nation and our soliders. When ask what he will do in responce to 9/11 his first responce was Pray.

It amazes me the little things or loopholes that let people get away with all the terrible things that happen. Like, Dog the bounty hunter being put in jail for arresting a known serial rapist. I'm not sure of all the details on that, it's just a messed up situation.

well this is when we all need to try to focus on the good... and if we can't find any good in the situation... then we need to DO something good and focus on that!

i was sitting here so stressed out before i read your post joe and then... i realized what i really need to do is focus on how much i love my family. how much i love my kids and how proud i am of them for their choices and the way they treat others.

i'm also focusing on thankful i am that my mother made it thru her surgery on wednesday and will be alive to celebrate samhain with us again this year.

ahhhhhh let's all take a deep breathe and think "LOVE"!

I was on this other forum recently and this one person posted this HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SITE. If only there were words to say on that subject. This world is indeed getting more over populated with evil people than good and its just so sad to think that the good of this world will soon be gone:(

Awwwwwww did Dog hurt the pig:mad: .He probably said something wrong to the ( blank) and hurt his feelings.I left the space blank open other wise i would be banned from here ;) .You can fill it as you see fit:cool: .

I watch bounty hunter and never knew he got locked up. Makes you think our government want the known serial rapist to be free....

I agree Aleesha. This is the most imortant time to remember all the blessings in our lives. We have people like you (Joe) and Chris who offer up animals to people you've never met, just to ease some pain. I always believe you need to look for the positive. So much of your happiness depends on your attitude. It's not worth letting people make you feel bad, it doesn't bother them any.

Aleesha,i am sure you know the first part of my first post was about you and your family.I was just setting here and for some reason i started that thread.I left out a few other things that goes on in this world because i felt it might start a argument.I can only amagine the stress you and yours have been thru this last couple of weeks.I remembered another possible person who might be able to help you,contact your District Representative and see what they can do about this.I am not trying to get you all stressed out again,i just could not remember what these people were called yesterday(District Rep).Beleive it or not i have been thinking about your situation and ways to help you since you made your first post.Now you have a great evening with your family,the party does not start until monday ;) .

Dog was locked up for "where" he detained and arrested the person. Apparently it is illegal to bounty hunt in Mexico and this is where he got this guy. His son Leland and brother Timothy were also arrested. All 3 are out on bond.

Wow.. I wish Mexico would let us hunt those RAPIST AND MURDERERS that go into its country. Anyone who intentionally murders someone without a good enough reason or rapes or anything like that should be put to death (My opinion):mad: That just makes me mad.:sabduel:

Yes it is definatly a bad situation. I feel for them, doing what you feel is right doesnt always mean its right by the laws of the land. Personally Im glad they caught the guy he was convicted and is serving his time. So even if they are being punished they still got their man, and one less idiot is off the streets.

i have some really good news. turns out that this guy has been upsetting (to put it mildly) a whole lot of people here in town and i have a city council member who is very interested in assisting me with this issue. so i'm a LOT calmer now.

and yes you are right... the stress has sucked :( thanks so much for caring. you have no idea how much everyone's support has meant to me during this... (((hugs))) it's nice to have somewhere to share my story with. ;)

Mexico is demanding extradition because the bounty hunter didn't follow (legal?) procedures in the capture of the guy.

If we all become complacent and don't do anything to change our own little corner of the world, then we don't have any right to complain......


How many times have we seen small things and done nothing because "we shouldn't interfere"????

The parent stressing and yelling or pulling on the kid when the kid's in a tantrum? Or upset? Or the cheater at the grocery store? Or the family that's a little short of money and could use comfort or a casserole dinner to help?
