    Probing/Popping
I'm going to need to know how to probe and/or pop balls to determine sex. I'm looking for some help from those who are expirenced. There's not much info online about it. I would rather do the popping as it looks easier and less risky, but how will i tell the difference from if im doing it wrong on a male or its a female.. I'd like some info on popping too... i know that if its a male the hemepenes will pop out, but if its a girl.. nothing will happen??

The best way to learn is to have someone experienced show you. Both methods could be harmful to a snake if done incorrectly so it is best not to attempt it without being shown. Find a vet or reptile breeder in your area and as if they can show you how to sex snakes.

You can not learn the proper and safe procedure of how to pop or probe by reading online. You can break a snakes spine if you pop them to hard or in the improper manor. If you attempt to probe without being shown the proper way you can puncture thru the organs.Where are you located? I advise you to find a vet or a herp club in your area and seek there assistance.

Okay, I will probably find a vet. I don't know of any around my area that deal with reptiles but there might be.

Never attempt it without being shown how its done. I had the video once to Kathy Love's probing and popping of her corn snakes.. if only I oculd find it.... Just look up on google and you'll probably find something from her about sexing your snake.
