Moderators? Admins? BPnet Veterans?

I don't really understand how this community thing is put together. I'm guessing that the admins are the people that own this site. The moderators are people who help out. And what are the Bpnet Veterans. I'm just curious :D. Do people become moderators because they are trusted by the admins, or what. And how do people become BPnet veterans, and whats the difference.

I think the admins own the site, run the store, deal with the money and hosting issues.

I think the mods are members that have been promoted to mods because they've been around these boards for a few years, have offered good advice to others, and are trusted to run moderation on posts.

bp.net vets are those who have been around for 2 years..i don't recall how many posts they have to have. I noticed mine switched to bp vet after 2 years and 400 posts...not for sure.
