I dunno when the last time i saw a constrictor swallowing a meal that size. It is no way real, totally computerized!

lol yeah it does look fake, but something that size would be able to swallow a kid that small it seems easily.. check out these pictures from ebaums.. its crazy how a snake can get this down.. not sure if its a constrictor or not but if any snake can get that down with its size I'm pretty sure a python that size can take down a kid like that.. http://www.ebaumsworld.com/snake-kangaroo.html

yes it's truely amazing what these suckers can eat. Think of your snakes for a second...if your snakes are with you from babies, up until they're full grown adults, they know your scent, they know who you are. My best guess would be that this kid has been around this snake perhaps his entire (young) life, and the snake has been around humans its whole life too. The snake knows who he is, and doesn't see him as prey. Although it would make a very easy meal of the kid.

Sorry let me clarify what i ment, i ment for it to say "Ive never seen a constrictor swallow a meal that large without constricting it first maybe a rat but not a child" sorry about that! Good call!

Saw that news clip several times. That last shot was photo shopped. the original clip showed the boy safely riding thru doorway. Looks fake too.

Yep, Blue Mongoose is right. I've seen that clip too, and it ended very peacefully.

Its amazing what they can eat isn't it. That scrub python must have been a good 10'+ it looks like.

if u look at it closly the 2 second marker is the same image as the end, but with a shopped snake in it, (notice the placement of his hand on the wall). and the boy would have a natural instince to put his hands in front of him, and defend himself, before it came to him. Though it is very funny to us, this is just more bad publicity for snakes.

There was several pictures roaming the net of a "burmese" i believe that tried to swallow a alligator in florida, but the aligator wasn't dead and tore the snake apart while partialy inside the snake. Don't know if these are real either. Last i heard, was florida is getting bad with the wild snake population. People make me sick, they want a snake when it is little, but when it gets to big the put it outside. Do i hear a real life anaconda movie coming soon? LOL NOPE

At a national herpetological meeting a guy talked about the burm vs gator pic, and they are fairly sure another gator came along and stimulated by the struggle and attacked the snake, tearing it open. Yea the invasive species in FL is getting out of control, i know someone who knows where to find a breeding pop of jackson's chemelons in a vacant lot as well as he goes fishing for agame lizards at another site. Insane!!

Those kinds of things make me mad, because we may easily be able to tell the difference but many other people that arent ever around snakes or hate them, wouldnt be able to tell the difference or autimatically assume its real.

I'm from Marshalltown IA and in Boone IA, there was a red-tail boa that killed a very small baby about 10-12 years ago. Now all constictor snakes are illegal in Boone so not even cornsnakes are allowed. It is so stupid. The snake was kept in a cardboard box in the basement and it was starving. It gets really stupid when someone looks at the number of deaths caused by Pitbulls. It's insanity!

That last part is indeed fake. The video it's self is a real. It was a news clip.

that kangaroo is by no way the width of the snakes body....

Theres also a bunch of iguana's now breeding and running around in the wild...
I believe theres also been some 300 burmese pythons since 1995 taken out of the everglades... It's pretty crazy...

This is news to me, I've never heard that there was ever a verifiable death attributed to a boa constrictor. The only instance I've ever heard about was were a boa was accused of killing a baby where it was later determined to be a case of infanticide where the parents had beaten the baby to death and then threw a boa constictor in the crib to try and place blame on the snake. Do you have any actual proof (newspaper clippings, police/court records etc) to prove that this actually happened? I'd be very interested in hearing about it

The first part of the video is real,i have heard of that little boy in Cambodia who owns a really,really large Burmese Python but we are talking like 6 years ago,but the ending of that video is so fake!!!Not to be sarcastic,but it is kinda of amusing to watch just to get your kicks.Good video chopping though non the less.
