Nope, not really. The stripes confuse people though.

They are fun. They were an excellent starter Boa.
Re: Rosy Pics (*cough*Cassandra*cough*)
Beautyful!!! I love the eyes on those fellas.... almost human!
Re: Rosy Pics (*cough*Cassandra*cough*)
i was considering a rosy as our first snake and everyone told me they were boring. kinda like having a pet rock
is that true?
Re: Rosy Pics (*cough*Cassandra*cough*)
Absolutely NO WAY! They are very curious little buggers whom make great pets. They must have mistaken Rosy with Sand Boas.
Re: Rosy Pics (*cough* *Cassandra* *cough*)
Wow!!! Your lil Roxy is gorgeous!!! I must admit, she IS prettier than my momma, Jewel.... but still I do love her gray/steel/bluish tone. How old is Roxy?
Re: Rosy Pics (*cough* *Cassandra* *cough*)
Seven or so months. You want to part with the bugger yet?

Yup...I am. ;)
Re: Rosy Pics (*cough*Cassandra*cough*)
Aleesha, I've only held a couple of rosys for a few minutes each; one was an adult at a herp show in San Diego, the other was a baby during a recent visit to a local herp shop.
Both were curious and slowly slithered around in my hands...very sweet tongue flicks saying "hi!". =)
Re: Rosy Pics (*cough*Cassandra*cough*)
hmmm... i wonder why those people said that? i guess everyone had their opinions.
chanting my mantra *no more snakes, no more snakes, no more snakes*
Re: Rosy Pics (*cough*Cassandra*cough*)
I find that they are very curious and very handleable (sp?). They love to wander around and move all over. Very active snakes.
Re: Rosy Pics (*cough*Cassandra*cough*)
Well, Jimi this is my situation....I have two females left. The biter, and one I'm holding for a friend till after the MARS show. IF she decides she doesn't want it, it's urs if you want. It's got wide stripes too. I really would like to keep one, but like I said, if my friend doesn't want her, you can take your pick, between the wide striper, and the biter.
