You ALWAYS talk about bite club (and provide pics!)

Tequila (the 8ft BCI) got me pretty good tonight. I opened her cage like always and touched her back to reassure her and she turned and grabbed me. I think I did more damage pulling away. Its bruising up nicely already!! :rockon:

man, I'm glad my BCI Bonnie isn't like that, she's a super sweet girl. Not quite 8ft yet though, pushing 7.

I figured as much. I'm guessing that no matter how much I "mentally prepare" myself, it would probably take many bites worth of experience to get over that reflex.

Darn Jamie she finally got you!!! I'm still waiting for one of mine to flip on me or smell ratty hands. On a seriou's note everybody theres no comparison betwwen a bp bite and a 8ft boa bite.

snake bites aren't usually painful to me atleast. Now when a monitor bites, it hurts MUCH worse than it looks

I wish I was in Bite Club, but no one will talk to me about it...

I've been grabbed a few times, but by nothing that'll leave that kinda mark! I'm waiting for my stupidity to kick in at the wrong time and my seven footer decides to take me out to dinner. She has a power punch, but she only uses that on the rats (so far). She usually knocks the tub over and shakes the melamine rack! Defense mechanisms are a must! Sweet vanilla orchards thats gonna hurt! haha

First rule of bite club is that Brad Pitt must join! I'll even (just because I'm such a nice person and all that :wuv: ) offer to bite him. :snake2: :)
