Stupid Fedex people.....

I am in the process of getting cerified to ship reptiles....FINALLY....now, I am for the time being waiting for my account rep to call me back. I have called TWICE, and no phonecall. Now, today I call again for the THIRD time, and this time make it known that THIS IS MY THIRD TIME CALLING, and the lady on the other line tells me what I can do if/when it happens that I still get no response in 48 hours. She then proceeds to ask me what I am in the process of trying to do. Of course I say, "getting cerified to ship reptiles"...she then says, "Uh, m'am, we don't ship live animals" :wtf: !!!! I'm like, the *&$!@ don't!!! Tell that to all the other people I know who ALREADY are certified!!!! Geeez!! You would think they'd be a little more apologetic since I am getting them some business! Anybody else have the same problem(s) or is it just me??????

Hmmm, maybe they changed their policies or something??? Call again and see if you get someone else, and try one last time before calling them again and yelling at them. Lol.

They like to give you the run around, I had issues too. :P But they DO ship live animals. What you need is a rep who knows what they're talking about.

Yup. They ship live animals, I use to work for them...

I DO work for Fedex, and we keep that certification of live reptiles low-key due to the fact that so many people are scared of them. I know it shouldn't be that way, but it's the way it is...not my idea. We still do ship snakes and live "harmless" reptiles. It's a pain in the butt, but keep trying is all I can say.

Sorry to hear that's a problem for you, but like Sheree said, U need a good rep and just keep trying. (Yeah I have a vested interest in this, I admit it!) But here's a reassuring hug :hug: for you. :)

OK,i have been waiting a year and some to talk to my account rep.I have a phone number of the head supervisor that i will give you thru a pm.Next time do not waste your breath speaking to the scared of reptiles people that answer the phone:mad: .Fedex does ship reptiles as you know because i shipped your devils to you thru fedex:cool: .I will now go send you the info thru a pm:gj: .

Well i was going to give you the info on who to contact thru fedex but i can not find the number now:confused: .Tuesday call 1 800 463 3339 and ask to speak to the supervisor over the account reps in your area.When they ask you what it concerns just tell them you are trying to get certified to be able to ship live reptiles thru fedex.If they attempt to tell you they do not ship reptiles or try to transfer you to the animal division tell them no.If you do not receive a call by wednsday let me know and i will see if i can find that number by then;) .Lets put it this way i have spoken to just about everyone over my account rep but her herself:cool: .

Lets put it in a nice way for here.When i know i am right i do not waste my breath with the little people,i go for the bigshots:twisted: :twisted: .Another thing and this is for everyone watch your shipping invoices,as i have had to get several refunds because they try to pull a fast one.I only charge what i have to pay fedex for shipping costs.So far i have had fedex try and charge me a much higher price and there excuse is my box was DIM figured.I have had to explain to them my boxes are 12x9x6 or 7x7x6 not 13x10x7 or 10x10x7.Of course they adjust my account but it is getting real stupid:mad: .

I've called twice and nothing!!! And she said it would be 24hrs its been five days , Guess I'll just call again.

Does anyone ship via UPS?

If they get any clue that you've got a critter in the box, they'll refuse it...at least that's what happened at one of the UPS stores that the seller tried to use when I got one of my babies. The box was refused, but they didn't say that when he dropped it off. He didn't find out until after business hours, so my baby ended up sitting in the store overnight. He had to go back to the UPS Store and get the snake the next morning.

If not FedEx, check w/Delta Freight and get Delta Dash verified. :)

UPS only ships lizards, turtles, and stuff...no snakes at all. Although, this is what SalmonBoa uses...so... go figure, right?

Maybe it's like Mickey D's????? There's the CORPORATE rules that they're "supposed" to follow, but the owner/franchisee choses differently???? < they're in violation and could lose their franchise, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen that way. >

Well, I don't care what the excuse. It's jus flippin' ridiculous!!! They're losing business, cause every package shipped will be overnight. I don't know why they would want to turn down business!!! :(
