I need advice and help a.s.a.p

Im 99% sure that my snake has a RI... I got him two weeks ago today, So I am tryin to figure out wether it was sick before I got it or wether it got sick in my care.

So my question is, How long will it take once the snake is sick to start showing signs (It wasnt showing any signs yesturday)

Was he sick when I got him or did he get sick in my care?

To my knowledge it depends on the type of bacteria found.
But a vet trip sounds to be in definate order.

Oh he is going to the vet either wednsday or thursday for sure!!!! I just would like to know if it was something I did wrong or if he came with it....,

Is there anybody else who can maybe tell me wether he had it before I got him or if he developed this is my care?????

Well what are your temps and humidity set to?
Also RI's are nothing to play around with or let go for to long.

It is at 89-94 on cool and about 80-84 on the cool side and the humidity is at aprox. 35. The earliest I can get him into a vet is wednsday or thursday.

Temps are good, but humidity sould be around 50-60% - 70% (or humid hide) impending shed.

How and what are you using to measure your temps and humidity? What is your setup like and how often are you handling the snake?

She is lieing. She measures only temp of one side with a needle guage. That is... she doesn't measure the cool side or the hum. and it is a 1 1/2' bp living in a 10gl tank at her house! And she handles it on a daily basis no matter if it is shedding and no matter if it just ate. This is my sister! I know! It's sad. I feel so bad for her snake.

Since you seem to be able to come into contact with this snake and her owner. Maybe you could take it upon yourself to help out?
Just an idea but such negative critisizm may not help your sister with her husbandry skills.
I don't know, I don't know either of you personally. But it sounds like she has at least reached out for a bit of help. Seems you have a bit of experience behind you, and look at that, you are also close by to her.

She askes for help almost daily here but does absolutely nothing people suggest. I see the snake maybe once a week and do all that I can for it. Like making sure she leaves it alone. I have talked to her about everything she needs to do. She feels bad.. but she is just to lazy to do anything about it. As you can see from my signature I have my own little family with takes up the extra cash from my budget so I can't buy her anything she needs. Like I said she knows what she needs to do... she more more worried about holding it, playing with it and showing it off to her 7-8 brothers/sisters (in the same house) rather than making sure it is happy and at least content with its environment.

If you look at her signature and see all those pets don't be fooled! Those are her brothers/sisters pets that mommy takes care of and the other half are mine and live with me including the male Kole and MY blood Kali. She only has this snake as a responsibility and can't handle it. Im not trying to be rude but I have done all I can...

Sounds like you've done your best for both the snake and your sister. Maybe at this point, ecspecially if she will not be bringing it into a veterinarian, You could help her place the animal with a new loving home.

It's nice to know how you talk behind my back bro! Especially since your snake went to the vet THE SAME DAY AS MINE! AND FOR THE SAME THING So dont be tryin to play mister I know everything about snakes and ive had one ajust as long as my sister has. And you havnt barely tried to help me with anything at all just criticized me about how yours is taken care of better than mine! I do all I can I dont have all the money in the world right now!

Kyle and Kayla, please keep your family spats out of this forum. You both may not like how the other takes care of thier snake/herps.. oh well, get over it and move on. You must have heard your mother at some point say "If you cant say anything nice to eachother, dont say anything at all to eachother". One way or the other you two are going to have to remember that you are family and to continue to treat eachother as you have demonstrated shows you have not learned any tolerance for eachother... sad really, cause one day, you will need eachother. So, please kids, avoid eachother if need be, however, we would rather you get along and treat eachother well.

I wasn't treating any one bad or disrespecting her at all. What I did was voice the truth. She is 15 don't expect her to be mature. She is was one replying back with disrespect. I have tried a lot to help her and I wanted people here to know that so they did not think I was a poor owner and at least tried!

Kilo if you are the older of the two - then you should lead by example. Please keep the family in-fighting off the boards.

What is with everyone!!! I was't fighting! I was cleary stating a problem and attempting to discuss it. I have no control over her and didn't expect her to reply in a rage causing it to turn into a fight. I apologize... for her actions.

Kyle, if she replies - don't respond. If you need to say something to her send her a PM - or talk to her in person since she is your sister. Please keep it out of the public forums since no one needs others drama.
