shows or shops in Florida

so are there any good shows or shops in FL with good prices and good snakes? ones that you would recommend.

the best one is in Daytona, but that happened last week. go to the calendar or look at the bottom of the forum for a list of upcoming events.

I've searched every where for reptile stores around here but no good results. I found a place called Rogue Reptiles and their phone is disconnected and when i went searching for them, they're non existent...:(

sweet, finally someone close lol. i purchased my BP for 60 bucks at Pet Bizzare on semoran blvd. I get most of my supplies from Pet Supermarket in oviedo, right off of alafaya. dunno if your familiar with any of these places?

i am familiar with the street names but not the shops. Where about are you located?

Pet Bazaar is pretty good, they been doing it for a long time, there used to be a really nice store in Melbourne also. I just purchased a yearling female from Pet Bazaar today.... but usually I just buy from Herp Shows. You can also check out the Central Florida Herp. Society... they used to meet downtown, I dont know where they meet now, but they would have stuff for sale from time to time. Thats just what I remember from my Pre Navy days, I havent been around for the past few years to know what is going on.

i live in oviedo. so pet bizarre is like a 20 minute drive for me. and i must say myself, it is a good shop. they know more than most pet shops. i dont hear of any herp meets or shows around here other than the one in daytona.

do you know if this company has a web site or anything I can look up? I'd like to check them out but i dunno their address

well if your in orlando then my reptile shop wouldnt be useful to you since its located in jax. its called first coast reptiles and the number is 1-904-731-2125 if you are into traveling.

Yeah i think jacksonville is a teetad too far to travel for reptile supplies. Unless your store is an online store as well?

I drive through Jax sometimes on my way to SC, where is the store located? Maybe I can drop by for a look somtime...

there's a place in Boca Raton called underground reptiles, they were neat. They had alot of cool things, bats, gators, anacondas etc. I havent been there in about 2 years so you might want to call first.

Underground Reptiles is in Deerfield Beach (about 5 mins from Ben Siegel's shop). If I were in that area I would visit Ben for sure! That said, Orlando is a heck of a long way from either shop.

well Boca and Deerfield are pretty close, when we lived in Boca I would drive over there. I forgot it was actually in Deerfield. Thanks for calling me out...:groinkick :P

There is another place just down the street from Under Ground, although I dont remember the name. It was a small place next to a movie theater.

Who knows if its still there.
Going to that coast soon, so I will make a stop into Under Ground.

Theres a show in Tampa in 2 weeks, FIRE show is in like 6 weeks, Aviculari's alternitive show is in like a month, they appear around south florida...


Im not a fan of Under Ground Reptiles, and would also rather drive 5 minutes more to Ben Siegel's.

100% agreed. Although if you go to Underground, ask for Zach. He is a good guy and knows his stuff.

Where is the fire show located?

I dont know if I would call my self a "fan" of undergrounds either, but when I lived over in Boca it was the only place I could get good feeders. I have found that more then one person there knows what there talking about though. Although they did sell me a 4 foot miami phase and said he was used in classrooms and little shows to educate children.......well that thing was the meanest snake we have ever owned, it bit me all the time. It went right back to the store, and they wouldnt give me my money back just a store credit, at the time I had only 1 ball python who was all set up so I never bought anything for him other then mice...so I ended up lossing my money beause there "child friendly" snake was crazy!
