Last 2 Girls from Daytona

I got these two lovely ladies from Michael Cole of Ballroom Pythons South. I acquired Sierra from him and she's growing like a weed, so I knew I wanted to see what he had at the show. The first girl was supposed to be the "ONE" that I was going to bring home - she certainly filled the bill for what I was wanting to find - reduced pattern with blushing. Michael invited me behind the table to go through all the girls he brought with him.

I've named her Reese after the peanut butter cup - shortened from Reeses

And then on Sunday I made the mistake of going back by Michael's table and this girl was there. She won me over with the reduced pattern - but the head markings sealed the deal! She's un-named also.

I love that second girl! :love: The head markings are so unusual. (now those look like girls that fit into your collection ;) - wait I take it back. That last girl just doesn't fit. I will be happy to take her off your hands. :D I'm just a giving person like that)

I'm sure you would take her! LOL! But Kara told me to hang onto her - so, I better do as she says! LOL

beautiful girls! lucky for you i didn't see that first girl before you did! michael always has an awesome selection of girls. of course the one i picked out this year ended up being 2k--a little over my budget, so i had to pick out another one instead. :P

I want to see what you got! The first girl I looked at was $500 when I asked him about it! Then I spied all the snakes behind the table and said "too bad I can't come back there and pick through them". He said "Come on back here and knock yourself out!" Deli cup after deli cup after deli cup.


She wasn't out on the table, that's probably why you didn't see her.

So where are the pictures of yours? Did I miss the link? I hate we missed you at the show!

i'm so disappointed i didn't get to really meet anyone. :( i felt like we were rushing around all day since we only had saturday there and not both days. if we were there sunday too i totally would've taken some time out to call you guys and try to meet up. boo hoo for me, but maybe next year.

last year i went through all the girls that michael had behind his table--this year i was afraid to since i did pick up one from him and knew my budget was reaching its max. :P

Budget? What's that? Oh - you mean that thing that keeps you from spending more money than you should? Sheesh, I wish I'd known about that before I went to the show! LOL


I even told Karl on Sunday - no more animals, then come walking up to him with the second girl behind my back! LOL

They are both just lovely Robin. I can see why Kara advised you to grab up that second one. Very unusual markings on her head. She'll need a very unusual name. Congrats on acquiring both of these lovely females.

Hello Robin my name is Kyle and I have a question for you. When you purchase snakes at the rate you do how do you house them? I have to keep spending so much money for each setup!

Hi Kyle, I have one rack currently, and will be getting a second. I also use tub set ups.

Robin...you have got a great eye for the ladies!! Reese is gorgeous...lives up to her name beautifully! And the other little girl is just crazy! Love 'em!

And how do you go about showing them all attention? (or are they strictly breeders?)

Another question - "What happens in Daytona - STAYS in Daytona!" I see everyone that went use that in there signature (except for me). Any particular reason?

Ball pythons would prefer NOT to have a bunch of attention, they are very shy animals by nature and thrive best when handled as little as possible. However, I take about three out a day and handle them for short handling sessions. They all get just the right amount of attention - enough for me to enjoy them, and not so much that they get stressed out.

The siggy means what it says! ;) Lots more happened besides the show!

Robin, You have scored a couple of real nice future breeders, good luck with them.;)
