Re: New 1200gr. female
She is a sweet heart! I got so lucky finding her. A local gir was going to college, and couldnt take her, so she gave her to me free of charge.
EDIT: by the way she has no name yet so ideas are very welcome.

well I talked with my husband and he wants to name her Brama (another Subwoofer name) so her "cutesy" nick name is yet to be found...

Nice - And you can't beat the price :)

Re: New 1200gr. female
No you really cant beat that price. she has a few issues, but it is nothing a vet trip cant fix. Right now she is living in the living room. She actualy spends most of her time peeking out from her cave watching the tv. LOL

Re: New 1200gr. female
she is at the min. wieght for breeding right? I was told wieghts should be between 1200 and 1500. Is this correct?

Re: New 1200gr. female
Kyle,
I have seen females breed at the 1200 gram size. However, it is not in their best interest, as they will probably have a very small clutch, and or very small eggs, if you even get eggs, they may be slugs. After she lays her eggs, you will probably have a hard time getting her back to weight for the following season. If you just give her one more year off, she will probably be a good weight, and give you a better clutch of eggs the folowing season. In conclusion, is it possible, yes, would I do it, no.
