First clutch - byaaaa!

Was a busy busy weekend including checking in on our unexpected clutch to discover some tiny heads peeping out. So far all the full-bodied eggs have been breached and one has come all the way out. The egg that had partially collapsed is still intact but four out of five right about on schedule not to shabby for our first go!

Dad was a het albino and mom a very pretty normal - 4 are out and no luck on the het showing through but we are ecstatic all the same. Call it n00bs joy of the first clutch, we were just glad we did things well enough they hatched!

Those are the four that are out. The one collapsed egg is nearly split and a live lil bugger is still in there - shy I hope!

Judy - no not sexed yet - I'm too anxious to see them take their first meal before i start molesting them lol.

Cass - checked on the fifth this morning - head is out and peeping around - I think by the time I get home this evening it may be a done deal!

The sire was a het albino and mommy was a normal. Even in the absence of flashy babies we're thrilled - especially to come out of it 5 for 5.

Correct me if I'm wrong guy's but from what I've seen some het albino's have a real nice yellow going down their side's

Good luck Matt I'll be in the same boat when It's time to breed my het pied male , I guess we should get some of that luck Tim had with the possible het axanthic female's he was 3 for 3. Also het's or not they are smokin.
