Snakes on a Plane!

Does anyone know what kinds of snakes will be exhibited in this movie? I'm so excited for it!

The kind of snakes that can be made with a computer...

Harmless snakes, yes, real snakes! And a few pc ones too. I can't wait for the second one :rolleyes:

Probably super deadly corn snakes and rosy boas!

I know there are a number of colubrids being used..... you can't expect actors to have their health/lives to be put at risk with real venomous snakes.... but it certainly is irritating to see perfectly harmless snakes being shown as deadly!

Did they even use real snakes? I imagine they are CG for the most part.

Yes they did, I saw a special on it.... they be real!

No they used alot of real snakes, I know the 12 foot burmeese is real and named kitty. Yeah they have corn snakes and king snakes to stand in for deadly snakes. I have heard the movie is pretty good actually, Its taking 2 huge fears that a large number of people have and throwing them togeather.

I am not to thrilled about it though as it will just make people even more scared of snakes!

they have a bunch of milks that are supossed to be corals ;) In one of the recent reptiles issue that had a article about the movie.

They actually used about 450 snakes including a handful of hots that were probably just used for footage in the plane with nobody around. I've read the burm is an 18-footer, but that number changes depending on who writes the article.

I think the movie will be campy fun, but I'm not looking forward to seeing so many snakes getting whacked. Hopefully they'll come out with a sequel in which the snakes get the better of the mean people and end up jumping out of the plane at the last second wearing little parachutes. :sweeet:

You don't think people are already scared of snakes...LOL It's just another stupid movie for guys to take their girlfriends to.

It kind of looks like a corny movie to me.

I hear it's up for 7 film awards!

Its going to rock my socks.
Like i said- the only people who wouldnt want to see SLJ wrestle snakes are the people that rather see Chuck Norris do it.
Anywhoo- the critics who have actually SEEN the movie say its fairly awesome. Its worth the cizzash. Besides- i just want to hear SLG say "GET THESE MOTHER --- SNAKES OFF THIS MOTHER -----PLANE!!" I think i may cry laughing.

I'm honestly tired of hearing about it...but that's me.

And like I said before, this movie is not going to create phobias. Irrational fear of snakes already exists in most people not educated on the matter.

The other night we went to Blockbuster and my husband found a movie called "Snakes on a Train". We both had a good laugh over that.

I wonder if it'll generate as many SLJackson quotes as Pulp Fiction.. doubt it!
