Took me long enough, eh? I used the blue eyed leucy ball (or royal) python as the base for her.

Thank you! I should seriously find out about doing posters, I bet they'd sell better than my 8X10 prints do, lol! :P

It would be great if you did do posters. I would love some to decorate our snake room with. Beautiful work as always!

Thanks guys! And told you I'd do the Mythological Herping Gear (tm), Alex! :D

Here's a link to my gallery, although I'm seriously going to revamp it soon and Perseus isn't up yet.

Now that you guys mention the poster thing though, I'm seriously considering setting up a premium CafePress shop... largely because I want a poster myself! lol! And I've already gotten a few items from them with the Blue Gorgon logo on it... MUCH nicer quality than I was expecting. We shall see. Some of the older pieces I don't think I could blow up to a decent poster size without serious pixelation... I'm saving the newer ones at a larger size though. Man, every time I think I'm catching up, new ideas appear! :giggle:

And speaking of ideas, I have a couple other projects to finish before I can really go to town on my next Medusa piece, but I already have it planned out in my head. It's called Lilith and I'm basing her off the red tailed boa. Not sure how family friendly she will be, but I can always try to censor it for the boards like I did with Oreithyia.

Thanks for the encouragement guys! I get more feedback here than I do anywhere else!

Thank you! I made it a while back for LJ, cause rain is fun and easy to animate. I'm kinda cycling through my more PC and Family Friendly LJ icons over here, lol!

Forgot to mention, the reason I went with a leucy BP is because BPs have the sweetest most innocent looking faces in the snake kingdom, imho. I really wanted to give Medusa a pure sweet and harmless look.

    Posters, definitely!!!

There's at least THREE of your Medusas that I'd buy in poster size.

GREAT job on the Perseus, as always Sheree! and I love the animated rain that you've added. That is sooooooo cool. :gj:

Thanks guys! Have I mentioned how much I owe to this forum, lately? So full of great ideas! I'm going to order a poster from Cafepress today and see what the quality is like. If it looks good, I'll set up a shop. :D

Thanks guys! Succubus is Karen's favorite too. ;)

We just ordered a large poster of Eurynome's Beacon, if it's not all pixelated and hideous when it gets here I'll set up a shop for all kinds of Blue Gorgon goodies. When I get enough Medusas made, I could even do a calendar hopefully!

    DO it!

If you can get them into 300 dpi .png's they should work well for shirts - and I have no doubt that you could move some of those with ease!

I would buy a calendar! My best friend is obsessed with Medusa; she has a tattoo and all sorts of medusa swords and knives; it'd be perfect for her!
