What a lovely family of critters you have! :sweeet: A friend of mine wants a Mynah someday, but is worried they wouldn't get along well at all with her current flock. They're not aviary birds!

Thanks frankykeno , tokays are my fave of all the geckos and im abit lucky with flea as shes pretty chilled out for a tokay she isnt that agressive at all . She is captive bred so that may a reason why she is pretty laid back , she will let me mess about with her cage setup when spot cleaning or rearranging stuff and just sit there on her branch but if i try to pick her up and then she will run off out of sight and failing that she would probably take my hand off lol , but otherwise shes all good :D

Thats true i knew of a mynah who swallowed a zebra finch o_0 he was only in the aviary about an hour aswell! he was quickly removed from there and kept inside from then on , mynahs are also excellent talkers , very clear just like a human voice , jack only says a few words as we bought him as a older bird he was about 3 years old hes 12 now :) , he says - hello , shouts WOW! he also asks if your alright and says no thats it for his talking but he also make some cool weird noises like crickets chriping , a train horn , the whoosh of a rocket going off and the classic squeeky door :D

Growing up we had a family run pet store that all the kids in our town loved. They had a mynah named Soc who was an amazing bird. Having grown up in the pet store he mimiced all the animals and would bark and meow until he had the whole place in an uproar. He would pout if they got any other talking birds in to sell and sit in his cage, ignoring everyone and mournfully murmuring..."soc's a pretty boy, yes he is, soc's a pretty boy" as if to reassure himself he was still the best bird in the place. He loved to wolf whistle, said a ton of things and if he was in a bad mood and you approached him he'd bellow "what do YOU want!" in the loudest, grumpiest bird voice.

Soc was a real draw for that pet store and they truly treasured him. Lots of people over the years tried to purchase Soc but they always refused to part with him. I used to go visit him every Saturday for years when I was a kid.

Thanks people , sharon the childrens is one of my fave of all python species only a very close second to Royals (balls) ( ive always had a soft spot for those guys :) ) also i post up another photo of sharon because for a 5 year old Childrens python she has kept her markings pretty good , the male on the other hand is 4 years old and has lost nearly all his markings as they typically do hes almost totally brown now just very faint spots .
heres she is last year after she finished laying her eggs (this was after i removed them to the incubator , which she wasnt happy about :/
