Very nice! I was thinking about asking the breeder to sell me one for cheaper than the regular price, but I HAD to check out everything else. They were very small!

Yeah. Check the corn snake forums.

If you were at the show, maybe you remember the spot where the guy had the two adult corns in the display cage. I got the Okeetee. They were next to the Black Rats in the wooden cage.

I was upset that they didn't have big bags of aspen bedding there :(

Yes, same here. My friend who I went with is drooling all over the B&W cali king snakes. She's going with me at the MARS show, so I'm sure she will get one there. I'm going to look for an albino KSB there.

awesome! it looks like you got one at the same stand I did! they sexed mine and said it was a male (the space from vent to tail was longer than the sexed female they had, is what they said). I'll post pics soon!

Re: My new little Kenyan Sand Boa
Did you get yours from the young guy (say in his early 20's) a few stands down from the door? I know he had about 8 others in cups and was down to only 2 when I left.

Here 'he' is playing "Snakes on a Plane"....

BP: The breeder I got mine from was right next to a guy who had ?snaping turtles? set up in a water tank on their table. And yes this would be that Turtle that works for Pete.

Re: My new little Kenyan Sand Boa
oh well then, it looks like we got them from the same people then:D I'm suprised they didn't sex yours for you...he compared mine to a smaller female they had and told me it was a male (I wanted a male since they stay smaller and thus easier to sneak past my RA's) the guys also said the sankes had eaten a few times already, which I thought was a plus! when I went there, there were like 8 of them (including some yellowish looking ones, but they had more black then yellow so I got the more orangy color), you said there were only two left by the time you got there?!

Re: My new little Kenyan Sand Boa
Yeah sounds like we got ours from the same guy. When I was leaving at 2:30 he only had two left. I wanted a bright one as well. I'm still going to look for an albino at the MARS show in Sept.

Well I just attempted to "pop" Shadow my new KSB. I believe it is a female since nothing pink popped out. Kathy Love is awesome for putting out those two short videos!

Re: My new little Kenyan Sand Boa
I heard if nothing popped out, it could be a female, but it also may just be a male and his penis didn't come out. The only sure fire way to tell is if something does come out, cuz then obviously it would be a male. maybe see a vet or a professional, since damage can also be done if you "pop" them incorrectly.

Yeha I'll get one of my snake guys to prob or pop him/her when they get back from Daytona in a few days.

Also just letting you know that the little one ate up a newborn pinky today. I know the guy I got him/her from said he/she had eaten about three times so far and shed once. Soooo I guess find a new born pinky and let your guy have it.

The vendor said wait 5 days and offer it a small live pinkie. So I did and little Shadow took a sniff, grabbed and killed it and chowed down! The next one I'll offer him, will be a prekilled one since I'd like to get him eating f/t.
