and how much do they each weigh?

also, you should consider quarantining the male for at least 60 days, 90 days being optimum. that way if it turns out that he has anything he won't pass it on to the female before you can catch it and get him to a vet.

I'm pretty sure males are mature at 30-40 grams, but you'd want your females to be probably at least twice that to safely pass the eggs or not throw slugs.

If I was a gecko, and I had a big ol human standing over me waiting to catch me in the act, I dont think I could perform so to speak... leave them be.. they will breed eventually..but I do hope you quarantined your male prior to putting him in with your female, or you could be asking for a whole slew of issues you really dont want to have to deal with if the male happens to have something you dont know about.

So he was quarantined a week?

A week is not a suffucient quarantine period... I wish you luck.

Quarentine your male before you put them together. Quarantine, means more than just a week!!!

Typically when you breed reptiles (or even inverts) you bring the male to female. You want to female to more comfortable in her enviroment. In thise case, you want to be sure she's comfortable with the environment and feels secure enough to lay eggs in the future.
