Angel's new photos (DUW)

Well I thought I would post some photos of Angel 20 min after her first shed with me. she freaking turned yellow on me! not pastel yellow but almost honey yellow.
the photos were taken with my brand new camara :D

fabulous pics what a glorious colouration , fine fine looking snake .....I am slightly envious I am ........aye infact very envious ...lol

Thanks :) she is my little angel.... well only when she isn't attached to my hand by her teeth... she can be a wicked little $h!7!! I put a balled up news paper in with her again and it made her worse.... o well at least he is really cool to look at :D

She's got some hottie coloration there; better breed her to a Pastel ;)

do baby BPs change color like this? she looked so drab when I got her and now she looks awesome!!!

Some of them seem to do so. Issa (my oldest male) got progressively lighter with every shed from a baby. He is now roughly the color of a tan m&m.

dexter is getting more yellow with each shed... and he's almost a year old now!

is dexter a normal? and where did you get him from?

yes he is. i got him from henry pourin in mission, bc, canada.

well at least I know this is normal. now for the pastel make to breed her too lol.

a color change from ether light to dark or dark to light is not something that will be passed on to her babies, will it?

That's actually kind of weird; in my experience, BPs tend to darken with age; that's why people are sometimes dismayed when their bright, orange/yellow hatchlings end up looking more normal as they grow.

Yea this is normal right after they shed the color is really bright and vivid. No biggie she not fading .

well I hope she stays like this... she looks great! and I love her eyes, you all know that I love ball pythons that have light colored eyes. :P
