I Need Your Help Guys...

As i have mentioned before, i had to make some big decisions a while back and i'm going to be going overseas for at least a year to study.


Long story short my plans for Monty sorta didn't work out and i was wondering if any of you would be willing to adopt him at least till i get back.

Oh wow; I just talked it over with Mark, and we would be willing to help. We have some room in our snakey room.. now we live in Arcade, which is about a half hour outside of Buffalo; is it possible that you could drive him here?
I dno't know if shipping would be a good idea; the one thing I am short on is an extra cage. I would probably need the one you have him in for him.

i guess i could drive him...hmph...that's gotta be around 6-7 houts outside Manhatten, oh well...ROADTRIP!!!

honestly, i would rather not to have to go so far but hey, we live with the choices we make.

now here is the real problem...i'm leaving on August 22. so basically we gotta do this really soon.

Alex, if it doesn't work out with the other Jen, I'd be more than willing to care for him for you. I can help pay for shipping to get him here, we have more than enough room in our snake room. I can keep you updated and send pics while you're away and then once you come back, I can send him back to you. I'm always looking to help people out since a friend of mine was awesome enough to care for Spoon for 1.5 years while I was in the Army. Good luck and keep me in mind as a backup plan. :)

We do have the room; I looked it up on Google and it'd fit in well. we are actually building a rack soon, and that would free up even more space, but even as-is I have a desk i could put the cage on.. I'd keep him in his home cage. I would definately be able to update you with pics all the time :)

Unfortunately no, it takes a bit of time to get certified.

You said you're in Manhattan? I bought a boa from a guy named Joe Rollo (BCI Joe) and he lives in NY. I know he keeps ball pythons too, perhaps you could drop him an e-mail and see if he could care for your guy while you're gone. Yep, he should remember me. I bought a female pastel BCI from him.

Hm.. I think that if Jen is willing to help, it might just be a better idea,. Not that I don't have room, but if she can help with shipping, that's cool. :)

alright guys, just to follow up..thank you so much to Jen (both of you) and to all of you who PMed me about this....i have found a home for Monty with this Joe Rollo guy in Brooklyn which is close so that rocks and i should be delivering him sometime this week.
