What would you choose?

Ok now its time for everyone help me make up my mind lol.Ok a freind of mine has a pair of female silver queens from my first clutch on hold.I get to choose whatever i want from his colubrids this year.He has king snakes,corns and hybrids(kingxcorn).I have my eye on some lavender corns he will have a little while from now(eggs not laid yet) or some jungle corns (75% corns x25% king).Or i can wait until something else hatches as he has 100 or so eggs still to hatchout of differant stuff.Help me decide lol.

well cornsnakes ae illegal where i live so i'd go crazy.

where do you live? please tell me its not because they're "dangerous" and that its because they're native.

it seems like everywhere you go there's some old lady that see's a 2ft snake and thinks it's dangerous.

I have one even better for ya.A year or so back i was doing a reptile rescue and in Illinois you have to have a license to run a rescue(idiots want money for everything). Well the "inspector" shows up and starts asking me if i have anything illegal in Illinois lol.Well of course i said no.Well long story short,i started to open one of my baby corn snakes cage to show him.Next thing i know he is screaming NOOOOOOOO do not take it out :O .Come to find out he is scared of snakes lol.Go figure a reptile inspector scared of snakes :rolleyes: .Ya gotta love the morons that run this state and enforce the laws :zerb: .

Reptile inspectors? I thought California was strict with their tight emissions laws.

I know this but i am doing this just for some input from the members here.I might change my mind and get something totaly differant you never know with me lol.

As far as corns go, my number one is sunglow motley (which I will have one day...oh yes I will)...but between what you've listed, I'd probably for with the lav. I'm not much into hybrids.

I was just looking at the sunglow motleys the other night.I saw a nice pair and a ugly pair from to differant people of course.If i go with the jungles now i can get the lavs at a very low price from the breeder.I have helped him in the past and he said he would give me a good deal either way.Once again thanks for the replies and the votes

Personally I would go with the lavenders, but I'm a super big purple fan and I would not be able to resist the idea of a purple snake!!!!!!

Well i am going to give my freind a call here in a little bit and talk to him and see when he exactly will have lavs.I might just trade these silver queen girls for something now and buy lavs later when he has them.Yea i know i asked for opinions here so i might just get both the jungles and lavs :P

I got an even better "dangerous" snake story... This shop owner about 12 years ago here in Vegas had a 3ft BP. Anyway it got out once... and Bruce's wife went to go to work one morning and found it by their front door. So as soon as she saw it she had a mild heart attack and was hospitalized for 3 days. So he had sold it to me and my stepbrother because she wanted it gone. I'd say 5 months later (if I remember correctly) Bruce died."from what we never found out"
I think it was a bad case of seperation anxiety.

I'd def. go for the lavenders, but that's just me.

Well the results are in lol.I chose a female 50/50 cali king het for albino,a male 50/50 cali king and a jungle corn male.See there pics in the general section of the colubrids.please let me know what you think.
