What's the humidity in the room the enclosure is in? If that room is high due to summer heat/humidity then you've got to deal with that as you aren't going to get an enclosure lower in humidity than the room it's sitting in.

    Already been established.

Humidity sure is tricky, especially in glass. In tubs, even with aspen bedding, it never dips below 50. You could always get a more absorbant substrate like coconut fibers. That's what I use in the glass viv my BP is in.
Pros: Natural look, keeps humidity up.
Cons: Poop is hard to spot, and piss is more so, pain in the arse to clean.

Just curious what you are using to measure your humidity? Sometimes the analog (round dials you buy at Petco) can be off by 10% or more. Digitals are much more accurate IMO.

As far as the search function, it is a handy little tool and keeps the forum from being flooded with repeated questions like "My BP isnt eating" lol :)

the "censored" sticky is there to put where a curse word is and you very much implied you were cursing. still not cool to "yell" like that even if you didnt mean to curse.

The censored smilie was included as a joke just like Alex says not to replace your need to use foul language Ryan. If you are going to get testy every time someone suggests you actually do a bit of your own work or research and resort to big fonts, bold type and pseudo-cursing maybe you need to reassess how forums work online. No one is refusing to help you but there is tons of information in these threads just waiting for you to look it over, then if you aren't clear on something, please feel free to ask for clarification.

It was obvious what the censored smilie was replacing. And still not cool. It's very apparent from the questions that you ask that you didn't do a great deal of research before you bought your snake.

From the questions you ask, while good questions, it's frustrating to those of us who are passionate about these animals to see that the animal didn't come into a home that was already set up with every thing good to go, and it's having to suffer the consequences of your actions (fluctuating humidity, fluctuating temps, etc).

In addition, I haven't seen a question that you've asked yet that couldn't have been answered with a quick use of the search tool here. Your number of posts and types of questions comes across to this reader as attention-seeking. I may be way off base - but that's how it "appears" to me.

I"m sorry but the above poster doesn't understand even the beginning of internet nor forum etiquette. I'm tired of seeing his abrasive posts, his obvious refusal to use the search funcationality on this forum and his ignoring of repeated requests for him to be more polite with this posting style.

Yes, his behavior so far has been less than stellar. At least he's not using the bold font anymore.

Ryan, I would take this as a message that you need to work on your netiquette. I would like for you to continue to learn, but you need to understand that you don't need to respond to every post. Try and be a bit more selective when you post, and post with more meaning and where you have experience.
