    Escape artist...
Yesterday I was changing water and cleaning tubs, and apparently I didn't close one all the way...Sienna got out. She's the little striped baby, so she could be just about anywhere. I tore apart the snake room looking for her, no luck. I looked in the closet, in a few boxes, underneath the rack, behind the rodent enclosures, nothing. The door was closed but she could have squeezed underneath it, so she could be anywhere in the house. I'm betting she's in one of the closets near the snake room, haven't torn them apart yet.

Any tips on where she'd most likely go or how to get her to come out?

the two times my male escaped he hadn't gone more then three feet away from his cage. the first time a found him behind it and the second time he was in my closet about 2 feet from it.

it sounds like you've searched the closest places so i would look in those closets near the snake room. i've also heard that they like warm places like under the fridge and stuff.

    good luck finding her.

Found her! I've been tearing apart the entire house trying to find the little Houdini all day, and I finally gave up and decided to try again tomorrow. Well about 30 minutes ago I happened to glance into the kitchen, and I noticed 3 of our cats sniffing something intently. I go over there, and there's Sienna, all curled up in a pile with 3 furry sentries around her preventing her from going back where she came from (underneath the stove). She was chilly, but otherwise just fine. She is now secured in her tub (and I double checked it). Phew! :)

Nope, they were all behaving. They were each about a foot away from her, just staring and trying to sniff from a distance. :D

Oh thank goodness you found her and the cats "treed" her without any damage. Bet you are feeling much better now LOL.

What is with these guys and kitchens??? The linoleum is cold, you'd think they'd want to avoid it. At least you found him!!! :)

The cats were all really intrigued by this little "moving string"...they were all watching so intently and couldn't figure out what she was. They probably thought she smelled funny. When I picked her up and brought her back to the snake room, I came back out and the 4th cat had joined the other 3 in searching that corner of the kitchen to try to figure out where she went. I swear they were in there for a good 30 minutes trying to find her. lol!

I'm VERY relieved that they found her, I was so worried. She's such a small little thing and I was worried she'd get stuck somewhere and I'd never find her.

Congrats on finding your ball. It is always frustrating looking for an escapee.
