    Smacking my forehead
Im a little ticked at myself....and have to vent- you guys will understand.

I missed the white plains show, which i knew about but just couldnt really get there.

I went to petco today cause my friend told me about a really unique looking BP there, and i was talking to one of the girls. She went to the show, and apparently someone brought a bumblebee pied.

im gonna go cry in a corner

Ummm....I don't think the info you got would be accurate.

The first guy to come up with a spider pied came out this summer, and if someone had made a bumblebee (which is pastel x spider) pied (pastel x spider x pied), it would likely have been posted around some of the forums already.

It very well could have been a pastel pied though! Those rock!

Another thing...its going to be cool to find out to see what happens with the spider pied combo as more come out. The first baby was insanely high white, except for just a little patterning on the head. At this point, it wouldn't be fair to say that ALL spider pieds will turn out like that, but its something to keep in mind and I look forward to what develops with that.

So lets assume all spider pieds are like that....would a bumblebee pied just have a little more yellow in the head pattern? We'll find out one day!

Yeah, I asked the girl like over and over again "Are ya SURE it was a BUMBLEBEE pied, not a pastel or spider pied" and she swore up and down. I kinda thought I would have heard about it

hey, could you hook me up with some pictures or links>

She said it was extremely high white.

Ya know what, thats prolly exactly what she saw- she said it was practically all white with a patterned head. she also said the super ball was there, so i think she just got a lil confused ;)

So that's it! All of the Petco employees take all the morphs out of the import bin! Geeze why didn't we think of that before!

    Brad,
Just FYI, but Steve Roussis has now hatched three Spider Pieds to date, and all three have the patterned head, and no pattern anywhere else. Thought you might like to know.

I don't know if it is on kingsnake or Steve's website, but there was something about it on RDR's site a while back.

shoot, was gonna find the link for you but it's like 5+ pages back now...amazing snakies but me, I'd rather just have a regular high-white pied. But rock on for mixing the pied morph!
