These will never be able to take a guinea pig.:D

They are a year old and an adult mouse is a really big meal for them. :O

Funny part is no one really knows for certain just what the true adult size is on these. There are estimates but these haven't been imported or bred enough (or even kept long enough for that matter) to know for certain.

They can get anywhere from 3 to 6 feet based upon the ones that have been collected so far.

Ya true. I remember a few years back most of the care sheets said colombian redtails maxed out at 8' and now people are showing up with 9-10' ones. In maybe 5-10 more years people will have a better guess of there full potential in size

I needed cash fast a few weeks ago so I put these up. They didn't sell since no one knew what I was actually listing.

I ended up getting the money another way to pay the bill and they stayed here.

Reach in and pick them up. They have a temperament more like a Colombian boa than that of a Nicaraguan boa.

Man... I am so torn between a Bluefield and a Caulker Cay... Not that it matters till we have room to spare that isn't reserved for baby VBBs. But still...

LOL! I like that excuse... "Sorry hon, I couldn't decide... we'll just have to get both then." :halohorn: Mmm, both.... man, I need a Mr. Burns steepling his fingers and saying "Excellent!" smiley to insert here... lol!

Do they take f/t as easily as most boas? That would be a main selling feature. I would love to have some dwarf boas

The female takes f/t but you need to dangle it in front of her. She held out 3 meals of p/k before taking f/t.

The male will take it just by placing it down. No teasing needed with him. He took f/t the first time I tried.

    Definitely.

I should be able to offer unrelated pairs when they breed.
