The wait is over ! . . . .

Hey Everyone,

I have just returned from the Barking show.. & at long last... can now say that I am the proud owner of my 1st Royal Python! Male - 4 months old

He has a tiny piece of unshed skin on the top of his head, but was assured by a lady that was there from another forum that this wouldnt be a problem..

Im so happy I could jump for joy !

He was confirmed a boy there as they were not sure! He seems like he is an alert little fella anyway.. checking out his new home.

Hey since he's going to be with you for upwards of 20 years I'd have taken tons of time to pick too LOL. I'm sure the shed will come off with proper humidity on his next shed cycle. As long as it's not encircling it's fine really.

Can't suggest any names since I'm not sure if you want some sort of type of name or theme to it.

Kind of a fun site with a great search engine to find names meaning all sorts of things.

So Lisa fess up. How many times have you already run to check his temps and humidity are okay and he hasn't managed to escape and he's still breathing and you didn't forget the close the lid properly and is there a draft getting in near his enclosure which of course you need to recheck that you've secured the lid (then the cycle starts all over again...welcome to the free case of OCD you get with every new BP purchased). LOL

Guys, as far as Humidity goes, its at 70.. is this too high ? am I going to need to drill more air holes in his tub do you think ?

& yeah Bubba is cool, but there are so many other names that are just as cool !

Yep a few more holes will help that drop a bit most likely.
