I have a male het piebald ball python for sale. He was produced by Exotics by Nature. He currently weighs 650+ grams. He has a wonderful temperment and is currently feeding on small rats.

That means he is carrying one copy of a recessive gene needed to make a snake that looks like this:

That is a "morph" called piebald. It's a recessive trait so it needs two copies of the same gene to look like that one does. (Kinda like blue eyes in people.)

Lordy that's a pretty pied! The high whites are nice but I personally love that mix of both the startling white and the normal coloration. He must be a pure joy to have in your collection!

Thanks Jamie, I can't wait myself :carrot:,that time is a ways off though. My daughter is has been offering to clean cages, water dishes, etc for the next two years if she can have pick of the first clutch ...
