JCP Breeders ?

Anybody know of any good Jungle Carpet Python Breeders ??

I am looking to purchase one in the near future

i'm not into carpets, but if i was i would look this guy up.

Brads World Reptiles also has JCP's for reasonable prices I think from $100-250.

Very reputable....and to me he's LOCAL!!! :neener: hahaha

I knew him from a class at OSU, kept his biz card for 20 yrs, then made connections with him again. He's the breeder of my RTB, Wrigley.

Thing is, double check!!! He told me he doesn't do singles. I was an exception because of our "history" from school and getting in touch with him again. He breeds for distributors to stores, zoos?, selling in large lots. So ask, just to make sure he's cool with your buying only one or two.

But he's a great guy.

what are you looking for? high end?
if you're not looking for anything special then there's about half a million jcp breeders... just check the kingsnake classifieds or go to a herp show.

Im just lookin for a really nice one, so yeah i guess im looking for a high end JCP. I would go to a herp show but we dont exactly have alot of em down in my area.....or anywhere around my area.

i see... like most snakes they look a lot different as babies than they will as adults.

here's a couple hints though:
1 - get pictures of the parents if buying over the web
2 - a lot of times (not 100% of course) the lighter colored babies will be more brilliantly colored adults

i'm planning on breeding my JCPs this winter :-) i'll be asking 200 fot the babies

If you are looking for quality than I would go with either Matt Turner, Will Leary, or Andrew Hare. Justin Julander also has some nice ones too. Good luck.

I too have been looking for some nice JCP's-Cheynei and have talked to Andrew Hare yesterday (he is out-of-town til Wednesday) www.reptilesbyah.com check out the availability section but don't look at number #12 he is mine, sorry!:D He breeds for Quality and has integrity!
