I hate Odds!!!

Well, it's official, the "Ball Gods" hate me. I cut my clutch from Hypo to Het Hypo this morning, and I only got 1 Hypo out of 6 eggs. All of the babies are alive and should hatch, but after my Albino clutch disaster, I was looking for some better luck on this clutch. Hopefully I am taking the brunt of all the "Gods" have to give, and everybody else will have some great luck. Oh well, there is always next year for Hypos and Albinos.

That sucks Tim...hopefully it is a female hypo :D

That just means you'll get some extra-good karma in a future clutch! It all evens out in the end!

Oh man...I hope you don't give up easy. That's not hate...the "Odds gods" are just p***ing in your Cheerios at the moment. You don't want to think about what they could REALLY do if they got fired up. ;)

Awww Tim, I'm sorry to hear that! But you know what? I bet next year, if you're really, really good this year (kinda like with Santa) the ball gods will reward you ten-fold! That's my wish for you anyway! I'm sure it stinks and I'm sure that I'll be here in a few years experiencing the highs and lows as well.


Look at the postive - you have healthy babies - both a hypo and het hypos!

Don't worry, your not alone. This is my first breeding season and from het pied x het pied I got six slugs. From het albino x het albino I think three of the four eggs have gone bad. My two female lemon pastels that I was planning to breed this coming season have gone off feed and at this rate won't be big enough....Sometimes your the windshield sometimes your the bug.

Oh Adam I love that expression LOL. As the others said Tim it'll all overtime even out. I really believe it is a long term focus one has to have or you'll got nuts when it comes to breeding BP's.

Thanks for all of the positive feedback guys and gals. Believe me, my chin is still held high. I have hatched out some great stuff this year, and still have more coming. I was just hoping for a couple more Hypos. I do have another three Spiders crawling out of eggs probably today, so that always helps to cheer one up. Good luck to everybody for the rest of the season.
