    Who's working today?
Just wondering if anyone else is working today? In a way, I'm kind of glad to be working today - for some reason, yesterday I was bored out of my mind! It was just TOO hot to be doing anything outdoors, and I really didn't want to spend money on the movies or something else indoors.

It is sort of weird to come in on Monday to be off on Tuesday, but I have a feeling they might let us leave early today. So, anyone else doing the Monday morning work grind with me?

Nah, the group I suspect that's doing it is only working 1/2 a day today.

I just got an out of office reply from one of my vendors - their company is closed the entire week this week! I need to go work for them! LOL

i'm also at work today, but no big deal. i'd rather save my vacation days for later--half day friday before daytona, hubby's family reunion, christmas, etc. etc. we may get to leave early here too, so we'll see. :)

now who in the world closes for the entire week of 4th of july?! i could see maaaybe for christmas, but dang!

Single parents/grandparents never get the day off.....or do we?.........

Personally havent worked a cash paying job since 1999. But raising 3 kids and 1 granddaughter alone is a very good paying job...in many ways....

I actually miss working a 9 to 5 factory job, but get to stay home instead and get payed for it.

To those that have to work......Is it at least Time and a half pay? I allways volunteered to work at the factory on hollidays.....This place made it worth the missing of a holliday? Double time on hollidays.....

Now I think I will go mow the yard..........

And to all, Happy Independence Day!!!

Today isn't a holiday, so wouldn't be extra pay anyway.

I'm at work today too, but mostly yapping with Jamie. =) I don't want to waste vacation time either, trying to save it all for the wedding/honeymoon.

I work today.. and I don't ever really get holiday pay anyway since I am paid commission.

8 hours of dog scrubbing and dodging nails and teeth! haha.. I do love my job though.

I was the one lucky one that gets tomorrow off. Got my name pulled out of the hat.. lol

Stay-at-home moms never get a day off. In fact, I didn't even get the night off last night. LOL I'm so tired this morning it's not even funny....but off to the gym shortly, and then tons of other stuff that needs to be done today.

Well I didn't get much work done today. I ended up running around most of the day.
There is the downside to working from home...sometimes you put off what really *needs* to be done, and before you know it you're deadline is staring ya in the face :O

    Yay, a day off! :wuv:
Time to do the dishes; mop the floors; change snakey waterdishes; get the hose out and fill up 130 gallon stock tanks and clean stalls/take manure out a half a mile to the manure pile; maybe weedwhack if it doesn't rain all day; clean up firework debris around the yard; laundry.. change the sheets on the bed.. cook dinner for 6 people that are coming over after noon.. I love days off. :sigh2:
But such is life; wouldn't trade it for the world. :P
