New Mouse Rack
I just built a new mouse rack yesterday, and thought I would post a pic of it. We don't have a need for alot of mice, so I just built a small rack, to give it a try. Hope you like it.

Re: New Mouse Rack
Very nice Tim! I wouldn't have thought to use kitty litter pans for mouse tubs...smart guy!

Damn me for not having any building skills!

Re: New Mouse Rack
Very nice Tim!!! I have a few more mice so I have 3 racks like this one. But I supply a breeder about 200 mice a week. Sometimes I really wonder why I bother with the mice, but its nice when it comes to feeding time if you have stubborn feeders and hatchlings. ;)

Re: New Mouse Rack
Thanks Jamie, and yes, you do need to go buy some building skills at Home Depot. Nice looking rack Bill. I have plenty of rat racks, because that is what most of my stuff eats, but I finally had a need for a few more mice.

I have no doubts...I love burning holes! No templates and I breathe deeply!
How did I get so lucky?

Please accept my apologies for the hi-jack Tim, I just remembered that your not a fan of the practice.

Re: New Mouse Rack
Thats a nice mouse rack there. Seems very economical and practical, but it gets the job done, im sure.
Im going to built me one, as soon as a get my lazy a$$ off the computer and draw some out.
How much did it cost in total to do?
And where do you get your little "sippers" at the end of the hose?

Re: New Mouse Rack
Adam, actually, I find you and Jamie's banter quite hilareous. Feel free to hi-jack whenever you would like.
PSL, I don't know how much it cost, as I had a bunch of left over wood from building rat and snake racks. I used a bunch of scrap pieces to build it. As far as the sippers, you can find them at www.agselect.com.

Re: New Mouse Rack
Thanks.
Ill be ordering my supplies next week then.
One more thing, Ive seen some use clear tube, but you used black. Does it make a differnce? I think I saw that algae can build up in the clear, but not sure.
Thanks....
