    New Addition
I just acquired this new baby ball. Hes very calm and docile. Very surprising since hes very small and as far as i was told only a few weeks old. But my question is it normal for balls to have lots of stripes? The whole litter had stripes on them all just about..just in different lengths and locations. Hers the one i chose. Hes doing great and hes happy. Let me know what you all think.

Striping like that is not uncommon and can be the result of unstable incubation temperatures.

He's a nice snake, you should soak him and get that stuck shed off of his head and eye. ;)

thanks for the advice...i actually soaked him yesterday to get the rest of it off as i noticed the same thing. I know in boas that can happen with stripes and pattersn due to heat issues...but wasnt sure if it was still applied to pythons. I assumed but wasnt sure. Yeah i had my thought on it..but he looks sharp and like i said his temper for being so little just amazes me.

Yeah there both very tiny! I measured Stripes yesterday and he was barely 15 inches! Big difference from looking at my boas. LOL.
